After listening to all of the bragging from the Plantation Party about the last time we had a surplus was during the Clinton administration –  which is not true.  Yes, we had a surplus, but he kept spending – so it was not a true surplus.  He should have taken the surplus and paid on or off the debt.    In fact, the last surplus was during the Nixon administration which was the Republican Party.
