President Trump Could’ve Asked Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) To Invest More In The US, Says Jim Cramer
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella and founder Bill Gates attended Trump’s White House event. After the event, the firm issued a statement sharing that it would promote initiatives to advance AI learning and use, particularly among students. However, Cramer wondered whether Trump could ask Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) to invest more in the US:
“But these other people, these are the people that are the, it’s the Magnificent 6 down there. We’ve got the powerhouses that have all committed to doing more. I’d like to see if everyone’s going to make commitments like the way Tim Cook has. Who has put up, you know, the $600 billion over the four years. It’s incredible. I think this is, you know this is kind of what the administration [inaudible] initially was telling me. Which is that, it won’t be like Biden, who would never have these people. It’s going to be the opposite. These are the people who know more, and we’re going to have them in.
“But this is a very different time. I expect something consequential to come out of this. I just can’t even figure out what it’ll be.
“I think it’s entirely possible, that, the President could say, Tim Cook, has done X. What have you guys done? What have you guys done? Like Mark Zuckerberg, you went on and on about how you liked me, but where’s your AI factory?”

A lot of things are happening in the market today.
Let’s talk first about the jobs report, which came in weaker than expected. This morning’s report showed only 22,000 jobs were added in August, and the unemployment rate rose to 4.3%. That’s down from the 73,000 jobs created in July.
Economists were looking for 75,000 jobs in August.There were also some revisions to previous months. For example, June’s numbers now show a loss of 14,000 jobs during the month, down from a previous downward revision in early August showing 14,000 jobs added in June. That’s the first monthly jobs loss in four years. In total, the revisions show a total of just about 30,000 jobs added over the past three months.
However, in this environment, bad news is good.

When it comes to the Joe Biden White House, the details get more damning by the day — and the written record proves it.
The 46th president’s unprecedented blizzard of pardons and commutations in the dying days of his walking-dead presidency have already been tarred by revelations that Biden was largely ignorant of the actual criminals he was favoring and the crimes they committed.
But a New York Post report on Thursday is proving the word of the Biden White House wasn’t worth the paper its autopen was writing on.
The outlet described emails it obtained that showed how distant Biden actually was from the decisions being made in his name.
But one telling detail truly stood out — a piece of email trickery meant to deliberately falsify the records of the process used for Biden’s controversial commutation of 37 federal death sentences to life imprisonment for the convicted.
In one email exchange obtained by the New York Post, dated Dec. 20, 2024, Deputy White House Counsel Tyeesha Dixon and Associate Counsel Jared English strategized on how to get White House Staff Secretary Stef Feldman on board with their commutations plan.
Feldman wanted written proof that Biden had agreed to the commutations.
English wrote Dixon that he’d prepared an email for their boss, as well as White House Counsel Ed Siskel’s signature claiming Biden’s verbal approval of the commutations for prisoners facing the death penalty, including “violent gang leaders and people convicted of crimes involving killings, kidnapping and rape,” as The Washington Times noted in an August report.
Dixon responded: “Can you write it in first person from Ed (Stef usually requires that) and include that the commutation is to life without release?”
The New York Post report doesn’t include follow-up emails, but evidently the trick was successful: The commutations were announced on Dec. 23.
The American public saw a statement attributed to Biden defending the commutations reported by outlets like the Associated Press (though God only knows how aware of anything Biden actually was), but virtually no one was privy to the behind-the-scenes machinations involved, like those described in the emails reported by the New York Post.
And those machinations matter.
In “first person” narration, of course, the action is told from the point of view of the writer, using “I” or “me” to describe his role in the events described.
Its chief power as a narrative tool is that the writer is claiming to have been actually present at the events, observed them personally, or possibly played a role in how they transpired.
When a writer uses the first person to describe events without being present, it’s a fiction. When it’s presented as part of an official record, it’s a lie.
And that’s exactly what Biden’s deputy counsel was blithely asking an associate counsel to do — in an official record of the United States, for the express purpose of getting an autopen signature on one of the most controversial Biden moves in an administration full of controversial, and borderline criminal, moves.
She was asking him to pretend to be someone else, and describe that person’s views and actions as his own, to convince the woman with the power to use Joe Biden’s autopen to do as she was told.
That’s an act of fraud on not only the American people of the present, but on generations of Americans long into the future. It’s a lie on a world-historical scale.
This is the second tranche of Biden emails to have been leaked that paint the presidency for what it was: A giant scheme of smoke and mirrors foisted on the public by a Democratic Party that has not conscience and an establishment media that has no integrity.
A trove publicized in July by The New York Times, of all places, showed clearly how out of touch Biden was in wielding the power of the pardon.
There’s no doubt a third cache somewhere, and a fourth and a fifth — all waiting for an enterprising reporter or historians of the future to make the news again.
And the details will almost certainly be even more damning than they are today.
This is so sad since he is supposed to be a Catholic and that his wife allowed that to happen under his Dementia. Doesn’t look like she was looking out for his welfare?
I would say it was Obama/Rice who were pushing this – which is my opinion.
A new Trump administration report condemned the Biden administration for its treatment of Christians.
The initial report of the Department of Justice’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias has been released, and it categorized what it called “numerous instances of anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration.”
“Joe Biden weaponized the full weight of the federal government against Christians and trampled on their fundamental First Amendment rights,” White House representative Taylor Rogers said, according to Fox News.
“Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is protecting Christians, not punishing them,” Rogers said.
The report said that in recent years, America’s Christian underpinnings have been “undermined. The political, social, and humanitarian contributions of Christians have been devalued, their beliefs marginalized, and their communities unlawfully targeted by their own government.”
“A review of federal departments and agencies revealed a consistent and systematic pattern of discrimination against Christians during the Biden Administration. Where there should have been ‘equal justice under law’ there was unequal treatment — policies and practices that singled out Christian people, Christian houses of worship, and Christian convictions for disfavored treatment,” the report said.
The report included the task force’s vow that “the federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith.”
“Under President Trump and Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, in partnership with all members of this Task Force, the rule of law will be enforced with vigor, and every religion will be treated with equality in both policy and action. The days of anti-Christian bias in the federal government are over. Faith is not a liability in America — it is a liberty,” the report said.
The report cited various departments that imposed prejudicial actions against Christians.
For example, it said, the Department of State “provided limited humanitarian relief to Christians relative to other populations and offered muted responses to attacks on Christians compared to other groups.”
In the State Department, “preferential employment practices were afforded adherents of non-Christian religions, while Christian employees were disfavored. It was particularly concerning that employees were less likely to be permitted leave for observation of certain Christian holidays as opposed to non-Christian ones.”
It also “imposed radical LGBTQ gender ideology on foreign governments and State employees, including the forced usage of preferred pronouns and rainbow flags, violating the sincerely held religious beliefs of many Christians and other Americans of faith.”
The Department of Justice “arrested and convicted approximately two dozen individuals under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for praying and demonstrating outside abortion facilities. Yet, the same DOJ refused to apply the FACE Act to protect places of worship and crisis pregnancy centers,” per the report.
Over at the Department of Education, “The Biden Administration’s ‘book ban coordinator’ role within ED, investigated school boards for removing age-inappropriate materials from school libraries, typically in response to religious objections by parents.”
“Though these investigations remain in their early stages, the evidence uncovered is unmistakable: during the Biden Administration, people of faith, particularly Christians, were repeatedly subjected to anti-religious bias at the hands of their own government,” the report’s conclusion noted.
“By eradicating anti-Christian bias in the federal government, the Task Force is reaffirming a principle older than the Republic itself, that freedom of religion is not granted by government but guaranteed against it.
“America must remain One Nation Under God if she is to remain Indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for All. The Task Force will never permit the federal government to be used as a weapon against faith.”
