The following letter was in our daily paper and it had so much truth in it – I had to share it.
Will the American citizens choose freedom or socialism?
A vote for Donald Trump means living in a free economically strong, safe country as we did before. Under Trump a smart businessman and brilliant negotiator, there were no conflicts or wars.
The current administration claims that Trump would imprison his opponents, but who is the real threat to democracy? Trump has survived two assassination attempts after the shameful lies by Biden/Harris and the mainstream media for eight years. A vote for the unelected socialist Kamala Harris means that our country will no longer exist. She is controlled by Obama and Soros, among others, who want to transform us into a third world nation.
During the past three an a half years, this administration has opened our southern border, and allowed millions of unvetted illegals to flow in and to fly into our communities from over 100 countries at tax-payer expense. They receive free healthcare and housing and major crimes are being committed by these illegals. The complete disregard for our citizens is appalling, but after almost four years in power they are still blaming Trump. Who are the racists? Biden/Harris call Trump supporters white supremacists, Nazis and Fascists. Labeling people is the definition of racism.
Kamala is campaigning on “joy.” How joyful are people when buying gas and groceries? Are they joyfully contributing their tax dollars to the illegals? Are we supposed to sacrifice our way of life to the elite communists? Are the Obamas and the Bidens sacrificing anything? Middle class Americans are paying the price as we continue losing money and freedom.
Lastly, are we better off now than when Trump was in office?

Jason Chaffetz says Biden’s ‘garbage’ insult shows Democrats’ ‘repeated disdain’ for Trump supporters
Ayear ago, many Democrats believed a Trump nomination would depress Republican turnout, energize the Democratic base, and lead to an easy win on Election Day. But Democrats woke up this morning to a very different race, and they have only themselves to question.
Were senior Democratic operatives setting Biden up to fail? There was no reason to agree to a debate so early. Were they deliberately trying to create a reason to replace him on the ballot? Or were they legitimately blindsided by his poor performance? Should they have pushed him out sooner? Could they have? Why didn’t he “pass the baton” a year ago?
They have to wonder if Biden could have won this race. More importantly, would he have done less damage to their brand? Vice President Kamala Harris has hemorrhaged support from working class and minority voters. Why did Biden really drop out? He wasn’t doing press conferences and media interviews, but neither has she. He wasn’t keeping a heavy schedule. Neither has she. He wasn’t coherent on policy. Neither was Harris. Should Democratic leaders like Nancy Pelosi have stayed their hand?
Surely her inability to articulate policy, think on her feet and connect with voters should have been noticed at some point in her political career. Why didn’t Democrats see her shortcomings in basic retail politics? What if Democrats had actually done a mini-primary to select the best candidate? Obviously, only Harris could access the Biden war chest. But would they have been better off with a less well-funded candidate who could actually take on former President Donald Trump? Why did mainstream Democrats just roll over and allow this to happen? What kind of shenanigans went into her installment as the party nominee?
Democrats have to wonder if the Jewishness of popular Gov. Shapiro would have been a bigger liability than the dishonesty of Minnesota’s self-described “knucklehead” Governor Tim Walz. Should they have been more prepared to vet vice presidential candidates earlier? If they had picked Shapiro, would that assure a Trump victory in Michigan?
Was he expecting a competitive primary? Why wasn’t there one? Did he know how bad Harris would be at campaigning? Why didn’t he speak up?
The whole foundation of the Democratic Party is that government is the solution. But faced with a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the competence of government, the Biden-Harris administration fell flat. Sure, it was a terrible disaster. But so was Hurricane Sandy – yet Obama’s handling of that disaster was ultimately a game changer in the 2012 race. Trump handled disasters with compassion and competence, even when he wasn’t in office (think East Palestine, Ohio, and Hurricane Helene) What got in the way this time?
Democrats have to be asking themselves if they really understand America. Polling shows Dems are losing union voters, minorities and youth in unprecedented numbers. With two former Democratic presidential candidates endorsing Trump, Harris found herself cozying up to Dick and Liz Cheney for endorsements. Nobody else had that on their bingo card for 2024. Did no one consider whether Harris could successfully distance herself from her radical past? Who did they imagine she would appeal to?
She was in Phoenix a short time ago.

Kamala Harris visits southwestern states to sore up support with Latino voters drifting away from Democrats
She couldn’t name one thing sh would do differently. Why not? Was Biden so selfish and insecure that he wouldn’t allow her to put any daylight between them? Roughly two-thirds of the country believes the USA is on the “wrong track” and Democrats can’t name anything they would do differently?
Without a doubt, the assassination attempts on Trump helped him politically – as did the lawfare by partisan prosecutors and judges. Did Democrats anticipate how badly their plans might backfire? Did the Democrats really believe demonizing Trump as a fascist Nazi while simultaneously claiming to unite the nation as the party of “joy” was going to resonate with independent voters? It was probably a feel-good moment for the liberal base, but it was not a good closing argument.
Democrats will inevitably claim that is garbage, but “garbage” is the point. Biden calling Trump supporters “garbage” follows a long line of repetitive disdain for millions of Americans. “How could anyone support Trump?” they bemoan in unison. Could Biden have done more to help her win, perhaps by just being silent? At least twice he stole the limelight from her, holding press conferences directly opposite national appearances she made, and the garbage comment could not have come at a worse time for the V.P. running to replace Joe. Perhaps they are resentful of being pushed off the ticket?
Nikki Haly argued that the “Biden-Harris agenda” has made the world “far more dangerous.” Which is true. The other fact that Biden/Harris do not support the Constitution/Bill of Rights/Democracy which protects the citizens is the main problem why people should not vote for Kamala Harris.
People have missed that point.
As women who have worked in any type of business field know that there are very few people who agree with anyone 100% of the time. That is a given. We learn how to input our opinion, appropriately.
The only disagreement that I have had with Haley is her “storing” the statues when she was the government of South Carolina. That was history and people should be taught that a lot of money was paid for those statues and people have to learn to respect history – not burn or hide history

Nikki Haley, a Republican who ran against former President Trump months ago, penned a supportive op-ed about the presidential candidate on Sunday, two days before Election Day.
The former South Carolina governor wrote the recently-published opinion piece, which is titled “Trump Isn’t Perfect, but He’s the Better Choice.” It ran in the Wall Street Journal on Sunday.
Haley challenged Trump in the 2024 Republican primary before dropping out in early March. In the op-ed, she argued that the “millions” of Americans who have mixed views of Trump should vote for him.
“I don’t agree with Mr. Trump 100% of the time,” Haley conceded. “But I do agree with him most of the time, and I disagree with Ms. Harris nearly all the time. That makes this an easy call.”
Nikki Haley wrote a supportive op-ed about President Trump on Sunday.
Haley served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Trump’s tenure from 2017 to 2018. She has been known to both praise and criticize the Trump campaign openly, and argued that the “Biden-Harris agenda” has made the world “far more dangerous.”
“Our southern border is our most pressing security threat; Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris have made it dramatically worse,” the Republican wrote. “Their debacle in Afghanistan not only created a new terrorist state; it also signaled weakness that sparked Russia’s war against Ukraine.”
“Their appeasement of Iran has enriched that despotic regime and emboldened it to pursue war with Israel through its terrorist proxies,” Haley added.
The ex-ambassador predicted that a second Trump presidency “wouldn’t be perfect,” but that it would include tax cuts, increased support for American energy and better standing on the world stage.
“These are enormous policy differences that will affect the lives of every American and much of the world,” Haley wrote. “Will Mr. Trump do some things I don’t like in a second term? I’m sure he will. If that was the question before voters, then I imagine Mr. Trump would lose.”
“But that isn’t the question in any election,” she added. “No politician gets everything right. For those of us clear-eyed enough to see Mr. Trump’s flaws and honest enough to acknowledge them, the question is whether we’re better off with his policies or his opponent’s.”
“On taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy and national security, the candidates are miles apart. And Mr. Trump is clearly the better choice.”
“It’s like what I said at the Republican National Convention. You don’t have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him,” Haley said. “And so, for me, we have the choice. The choice is given. It’s either Donald Trump or it’s Kamala Harris. And for my family, what I’m looking at is the fact that my daughter says she can’t afford groceries. And I look at an economy that’s been tough for all of us.”
