Trump has declined to negotiate with Democrats regarding their requests to preserve expiring health insurance subsidies until they consent to reopening the government. However, doubtful Democrats wonder whether the Republican president will honor his commitment, especially after the administration limited SNAP food assistance, despite judicial orders to ensure funding remains available to prevent hunger. Trump, whose initial White House tenure established the prior government shutdown record, is scheduled to meet early Wednesday for breakfast with GOP senators. However, no discussions have been arranged with the Democrats.”

Is there any country in the world who gives benefits to non-citizens? Why do the Democrat/Socialists want to give away benefits when our own people are suffering due to the left printing more money during their time in office and raising the debt?

No man is an island, Mr. Mayor. He still has to honor the laws of our country/Constitution.
Mr Mamdani – who will be the first Muslim, first South Asian, and youngest person in more than a century to be elected as the Big Apple’s mayor – added: “To get through any of us, you will have to get through all of us.”
No one was looking out for the Constitution in New York. The new mayor of New York told you what he is going to do to your city and you responded by saying “YES” – we don’t want any freedoms – we just want everything free. Now, we shall see how things work out when you run out of other people’s money?
The President has been working to put us back on the right track after 12 years of Obama/Biden’s corruption which is causing a lot of suffering right now. Then you take that same track to dishonor the Constitution.
Our taxpayer’s money/Open Society are paying to elect these leftie people.
Next time you walk down the street and see our wounded veterans who have fought in these past wars for our freedom and then you elect someone who is not going to stand for our laws/Constitution – it tells me you are being selfish and don’t give a damn about “keeping our freedom.”
If you don’t use the Constitution – you lose it. New York and those other states just lost their freedom.
Now we will see what happens.

In these United States, they say we follow the Constitution. Oh! REALLY? A follow-up is needed when a state misuses it and should be fined.
In that case, isn’t the Supreme Court suppose to protect the Constitution and how each state is governed by it. We now have the blue states Democrats who are not following the Constitution. How can that be?
My point here is – when a congressman runs for office he has to be a certain age and a citizen and must follow the Constitution. But, yet, when he is sworn into office he can or doesn’t have to take an oath in some cases. Most take an oath on the Bible – THAT THEY WILL FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION.
We must require they take an IQ test to be sure they are qualified.
The question I have is – why aren’t we following the Constitution as far as all of the states are concerned?
In my eyes, I see the states courts/Supreme Court are responsible for being sure the constitution is in effect in EVERY STATE. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING.
The reason for this opinion is that we are getting off track with the Constitution.. A case in point is that one of candidates in New York has shown his colors and is a SOCIALIST which is completely out of bounds for the Constitution.
What am I missing here?
There is no way he can/will follow the Constitution. We have to decide what our country stands for or we will end up in the grave yard of history.
We have to enforce the rules of the Constitution.
Even right now we have a big problem in that treason was committed against our country and the people against the Constitution/the leftie courts reply is – some people did something against our country. The Supreme Court ruled because of the proven fake cases against President Trump it was ruled that he is immune to all cases. So, does that justify making Obama/Biden/et al free from prosecution at this time. This cannot be allowed. We must prove that CRIME DOES NOT PAY.
It is time to make a decision to re-enforce in our Constitution
This cannot be allowed because it will only embolden the left to continue this destruction of our country.
We cannot allow this to be swept under the rug.
