At a press conference Friday, Jeffries claimed that everyday Americans “are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda.”
(Re. Jeffries doesn’t seem to understand how the Constitution works since it wasn’t used during Biden’s time in office. Please ask the Democrats to send him to a class on “how the Constitution works” so they can remove his training wheels.)
“We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. And we’re gonna fight it in the streets,” he said.
He claimed Trump’s agenda “is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working-class Americans across the country with the bill.”
(Rep Jeffries has the nerve to question President Trump on his agenda – after never opening his mouth when Biden was raping the taxpayers funds and causing a TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT for nothing in return. He should be jumping with joy that the President is trying to shore up the country instead of tearing it down like they did. Maybe he wants to continue like Biden did. Sounds like it!)
(I thought he would try to work with the new President after seeing what Biden did and how bad they got beat in the election. The voters voted for the new President to clean out the swamp and that is what he is doing. Jeffries needs to join the street people for a parade on improving the country instead of looking like a street thug. A release from the White House communications office called Jeffries’ statement “a sick call for violence.”
The White House statement asks: “Will Minority Leader Jeffries apologize for this disgusting threat? Or will he double down on the same calls for violence that have plagued the country for years?”
When Fox News Digital asked Jeffries for clarification, his spokesperson Christie Stephenson said, “The notion that Leader Jeffries supports violence is laughable. Republicans are the party that pardons violent felons who assault police officers. Democrats are the party of John Lewis and the right to petition the government peacefully.”
Jeffries, however, is now facing mounting demands from GOP lawmakers that he apologize.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minnesota, said on X that Jeffries “should promptly apologize for his use of inflammatory and extreme rhetoric.”
“President Trump and the Republicans are focused on uniting the country; Jeffries needs to stop trying to divide it,” Emmer added.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai stated in a communication to Fox: “While President Trump remains focused on uniting our country and delivering the mandate set by the American people, the House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, incites violence calling for people to fight ‘in the streets’ against President Trump’s agenda.”

Whoever worked up this budget must have been playing with their marbles. None of these items are for the health of the people. I propose that we forego any foreign aid until all of it is reviewed. This has to be a joke of some kind.

CBS’s Margaret Brennan Floored After GOP Congressman Says He Wants a ‘Purging’ of the State Department: ‘What Does That Mean?’
CBS Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan was taken aback by a Republican congressman stating he supports the “purging of people throughout the State Department.”
In an interview on Sunday morning, Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) — who chairs the House Foreign Affairs committee — said that he’s on board with a purge of State Department personnel.
“I will make sure, certainly as the foreign affairs chairman, that we give every single authority as we go through State Department reauthorization to make sure that this moves forward, as well as purging of people throughout the State Department, other agencies where we’re freezing aid,” Mast said. “These are all very important and necessary steps to make sure that we secure America. And we’re going to support that.”
Brennan was visibly surprised by the remark.
“I’m sorry, can I follow up on what you just said there?” Brennan said. “You want to authorize purging of State Department personnel? What does that mean exactly?
“Well, if you want to take a look at the State Department, where DEI has been a priority over, let’s say, diplomacy in many accounts, I can give you hundreds of examples of that,” Mast resp“Let’s list them off. Half a million to expand atheism in Nepal, $50,000 to do … a transgender opera in Colombia, $47,000 to do an LGBTQ trans comic book in Peru, $20,000 a pop to do drag shows in Ecuador. Shall I continue with more examples of where DEI was the priority?”
The CBS moderator pointed out just how minuscule those figures given the scope of the federal budget.
“It certainly seems like there could be a review of things,” Brennan said. “Foreign aid, as you know, is less than 1 percent of the entire federal budget. So we’re talking small amounts of money by comparison.”
“We’re still talking about tens and tens of billions of dollars,” Mast replied.
Brennan went on to ask whether President Donald Trump’s administration has told him about its plans for the State Department.
“Has the Trump administration informed you of plans to dismantle or significantly shrink this agency?” Brennan asked.
“This is something that I’m working on very specifically in conjunction with Secretary [of State Marco] Rubio, to make sure that there is the appropriate command and control of these agencies.”

These items makes our country look like the “laughing stock of reason.”
It sounds like we are giving free money to their politicians’ piggy banks instead of helping people who are in need.
No wonder our debt is in the trillions with this kind of foolish spending.
