KOMMONSENTSJANE – Where Are the Real Comedians?

11/13/2024

Google has our paid for accounts in fog this morning to make it more difficult in our blogging. We only get one paragraph at a time in print – the rest is in a fog. What kind of deal is that?

Is this Jimmy Kimmel’s new gig – gossiping about women?

Kimmel’s point was that Musk donated millions of dollars to President Trump’s campaign. True story.

It is funny that Kimmel mentions the Musk donation. One thing for sure – Musk got a win for his money and the Democrat’s were given a BILLION dollars, plus, in donations to Harris and got a LOSS for their money.

Now tell me who got the most for their money, Mr. Kimmel?

Don’t think Kimmel’s thinking was very clear!

ttps://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/jimmy-kimmel-offers-alternate-theory-for-why-melania-trump-shunned-jill-biden-s-white-house-invite/ar-AA1tZTxK?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=137489dc8cea42f5a86d993d8992667a&ei=14 Is this Jimmy Kimmel’s new gig gossiping bout women?

It would be nice if our comedians would stick to trying to be funny instead of being gossipers. Where is there humor? Look at the SNL program. Do these people go to school to learn how to be comedians?

Their programs are so boring. During the election all they did was rag and rag instead of injecting humor to help them accept reality.
Where are the real comedians?

Jimmy Kimmel savages Trump’s new partner ‘Elonia Musk’

(No, I don’t think so – Kimmel was not thinking clear about both sides of the equations as to who got the most for their money.)

Jimmy Kimmel has offered his own alternate theory for why Melania Trump has shunned a meeting with First Lady Jill Biden at the White House – and it isn’t due to a so-called “scheduling conflict.”

(From a woman’s stand point – why should she go, again, when she knows what the whole deal is?)

Dr Biden had extended an olive branch to Melania last week, inviting the 54-year-old American-Slovenian model to join her at the presidential residence for tea and a tour at 11am on Wednesday – just over a week after Donald Trump’s presidential election victory.

It marks a decades-long tradition between current and incoming presidents and their spouses which has seldom been missed, bar 2020 when the Trumps declined to invite the Bidens.

The incoming first lady, however, is said to have declined Biden’s invite, with sources close to the matter telling CNN it was due to an upcoming scheduling conflict related to her New York Times bestselling memoirMelania.

But the Jimmy Kimmel Live wasn’t convinced, instead sharing his own theory for the snub during Tuesday night’s show.

“She’ll be where he isn’t,” Kimmel said of the president-elect to raucous applause from the studio audience.

“Typically, the first ladies would get together for this meeting. But Melania said no. Trump’s team claims that Melania had a scheduling conflict related to her book that came out five weeks ago. Which doesn’t sound true…,” the late night host said in his opening monologue.

“In fairness to Melania, she’s probably putting up her Christmas decorations, I know that’s something she looks forward to,” he quipped, taking a swipe at her foul-mouthed 2018 rant about decorating the White House for the holidays where she complained “who gives a f*** about Christmas stuff and decorations”.

(You are disgusting.)

Trump will be at the White House on Wednesday after he accepted an invitation from President Joe Biden, as the outgoing administration has pledged a “smooth” and “peaceful” transition of power.

Trump’s team has tried to persuade Melania to reconsider her own meeting, deeming it important, CNN reported.

The Bidens’ adherence to tradition comes four years after the Trumps declined to invite them to a White House meeting during the transition period following Biden’s election victory in 2020. The Trumps also refused to attend the January 2021 inauguration.

Meanwhile, in 2016, Melania was welcomed to the president’s official residence by then-first lady Michelle Obama.

(So – what difference does that make?)

Kimmel also went on to question how much time Melania will actually spend in Washington during her husband’s second term.

(You are making assumptions and have run out of important things to say.)

“When the first lady treats the White House like an Airbnb is that a good sign for a relationship?” Kimmel continued.

(You are so disgusting and what a sick mind.)

“Could you imagine if they split up? Can you imagine a single Donald Trump hitting on UN translators, bringing Playmates from 1994 back to the Lincoln Bedroom. It could be… really great actually.”A new $59 smartwatch that monitors blood sugar painlessly in just a few seconds.

(You should be ashamed of yourself for making assumptions and dirty mind.)

During the campaign, a source close to Melania told People it was “not likely” that she would make the White House her main residence – saying the incoming first lady will spread her time between properties in Washington, New York and Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

(More gossip. Did you hear Melania say that?)

Pointing to Melania’s absence from a Trump family photo from Election Night, in lieu of the incoming head of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, Kimmel added: “Now did you notice who’s not in the photo? Melania.”

(And, what is your question? Why should she be in the photo take when it comes to government affairs.?)

“You see what you get for $100 million dollars,” he quipped, in reference to Musk’s donations to Trump’s campaign after he spent more than $118m bankrolling his pro-Trump super PAC by late October.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – Elon Musk Renews Calls to Defund NPR After Clip of CEO Resurfaces on X: ‘Your Tax Dollars’ Are Paying For This.

11/12/24

Thank you Google for giving me FULL service.

NPR is for all of the people.

For way too many years – the media has not been broadcasting the TRUTH.

Is there a panel who approves the programs on National Public Radio (NPR)?

It is time to review and approve if the citizens are satisfied with the current programs on this station. NPR should have a COMMENT section after each program to see if the people like what is being shown. There should also be a suggestion box for people to tell what they would like to see.

No employee should have an agenda for any political party. This is a station for people to enjoy and learn. If you can’t be party neutral then you should not work for NPR.

Elon Musk says Republicans will get the government ‘off’ the back of Americans, and ‘out of their pocketbooks’

Elon Musk renewed calls on Tuesday to defund NPR after a controversial video of its CEO questioning the importance of truth resurfaced online.

Footage of NPR CEO Katherine Maher from an August 2021 Ted Talk reappeared on X Tuesday, sparking new debate over the taxpayer funded broadcaster’s alleged bias, which has come under scrutiny in recent months.

In the 10-second clip, Maher questioned the role truth plays in the industry as the then-CEO of Wikimedia. “I think our reverence for the truth might have become a bit of a distraction that is preventing us from finding consensus and getting important things done,” Maher told the crowd.

Musk shared the clip to his 204.3 million followers with the caption, “Should your tax dollars really be paying for an organization run by people who think the truth is a ‘distraction’?”A new $59 smartwatch that monitors blood sugar painlessly in just a few seconds

NEW NPR CEO’S SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS SHOW PROGRESSIVE VIEWS, SUPPORT FOR CLINTON, BIDEN

His dig is the latest in a months-long feud with the broadcasting organization, with Maher at the helm. In April, The Tesla and Space X CEO posted a screenshot of a press inquiry asking Musk what his reaction was to more than 50 NPR accounts leaving X, to which he responded “defund NPR.”

Days earlier, NPR announced it would be dropping X, then Twitter, over “credibility” concerns after their account was labeled “state-affiliated media.” Twitter later changed the outlet’s label to “government-funded media.”

“We are not putting our journalism on platforms that have demonstrated an interest in undermining our credibility and the public’s understanding of our editorial independence,” NPR said in a statement at the time. “We are turning away from Twitter but not from our audience and communities. There are plenty of ways to stay connected and keep up with NPR’s news, music, and cultural content.”

Musk responded by asking in a separate tweet, “what have you got against the truth @NPR?”Katherine Maher, CEO, Web Summit on Centre Stage during the opening night of Web Summit Qatar 2024 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center in Doha, Qatar. Getty Images

Musk later reportedly threatened to give the outlet’s handle and account username “@NPR” to another account if it remained inactive on the platform.

Allegations of ideological bias in NPR’s newsroom were outlined in a scathing essay published in April by senior editor Uri Berliner, who has since left the organization. Berliner detailed his concerns of bias toward his employer, revealing that the NPR Washington, D.C., newsroom held zero Republicans, compared to 87 Democrats. A new $59 smartwatch that monitors blood sugar painlessly in just a few seconds

His essay prompted Congressional Republicans to apply pressure to both NPR and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) demanding action to ensure the broadcaster’s integrity and address Berliner’s allegations.

It also led to bills being discussed in both chambers of Congress to cut the organization’s funding.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – But, Didn’t Want To? COULDA/WOULDA/SHOULDA?

Did Biden want to get out when he did!

FOX News

Democrats are becoming ‘smarty-pants, suburban, college-educated party’, says David Axelrod

David Axelrod, a former adviser to President Obama, unleashed on an anonymous aide to President Biden during his podcast on Friday because the aide insisted the president would have beaten President-elect Trump.

“I read a quote from an unnamed Biden aide saying the Obama people ran Biden out in 2016, and he would have beaten Trump. And they ran him out again this time,” Axelrod said. “And he would have beaten Trump again. Bulls—!”

After Trump became the projected winner of the 2024 election, Democrats have been pointing fingers and wondering where the president went wrong.

“Come out to the daylight and say what you have to say. Put your name under it, and then let’s have a discussion about it. But don’t be such a sniveling little coward that you put an unnamed quote out there saying what is absolutely bulls—. Look at the guy! Look at the guy!”

Axelrod’s co-host Mike Murphy agreed and said, “if Biden had been a nominee, the Republicans would have the House by 25 seats today.”

Axelrod said, “We talked about the fact that he should have gotten out earlier. The people who are giving these unnamed quotes are the people who are in this kind of bubble of enablers that should have gone to him long ago and said cash in your tips boss, you’ll be thought of more highly and you’ll give your party a better chance to win.” He added,  “They are all holding hands in this circle of denial.”

Murphy said they should call it what it was, a “cover up.”

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told The New York Times that she thought President Biden should have “gotten out sooner” of the presidential race.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested during a New York Times interview that Biden should have dropped out of the race sooner after playing a role in the Democratic pressure campaign to get the president to drop out.

“Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” Pelosi said.

“And as I say, Kamala may have, I think she would have done well in [a primary] and been stronger going forward. But we don’t know that. That didn’t happen. We live with what happened,” Pelosi told the Times. “And because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time. If it had been much earlier, it would have been different.”

Tennessee Sen Bill Hagerty warns Biden administration about following the law if there is a transition to former President Donald Trump

FIRST ON FOXSen. Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., is firing a warning shot to agencies and departments within the federal government about a potential transition to a future Trump administration – telling the Democratic administration that it needs to follow federal requirements.

Hagerty has written to all federal agencies, in letters obtained by Fox News Digital, warning of applicable provisions in laws regarding appropriations that limit departments’ ability to transfer funds or change programs during the transition period.

“As we move into a presidential transition period, I write today to remind you of your statutory transfer-of-funds authority and change-of-program requirements under the Further Consolidated Appropriations and Extensions Act 2024…which will continue to apply with the same force during the transition,” he wrote.

“Compliance with these requirements must be a priority for the outgoing administration, given the criminal and administrative consequences of failing to do so,” he said.

He argues that the law limits moving funds, altering programs and prohibits employees from obligating federal dollars – with potential criminal sanctions or firing.
