KOMMONSENTSJANE – THE LADY AND HER HEALS/HEELS.

Nancy Pelosi is seen in a portrait taken hours before she fell down a marble staircase. The photo shows her holding on for dear life/to her fellow congressman.

Jay O’Brien on X: “Most interesting part of what McCaul recounts to me here is that Pelosi took this photo, he says, AFTER she broke her hip. She powered thru, took the picture, then went to the hospital, McCaul says. https://t.co/kSpzC6Y3iH” / X

She looks like a ghost in the above photo.

Sure wish I could “buy” her for what I thought she was worth and “sell” her for what she thinks she’s worth.

There are few — if any — modern American politicians who are more contemptible than former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

The longtime (long time), 84-year-old California representative is perhaps the textbook example of what a slimymeddlesomecorruptgreedypower-hungry despot masquerading as a career politician looks like.

To borrow a phrase from President-elect Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi is “the swamp,” by virtually any meaningful metric or definition.

Ironically enough, the only person who doesn’t appear aware of this fact is Pelosi herself.

How else do you explain this glorious self-ratio (of 12,000 comments and 3,000 re-posts to just over 9,000 likes) Pelosi endured on the four-year anniversary of Jan. 6?

As most Democrats did on Monday, Pelosi made sure to remind every American on X that Jan. 6 can never be forgotten — or at least, it must be remembered the way Democrats need it to be remembered.

“Four years ago today, our nation watched in horror as a terrorist mob stormed the Capitol grounds and desecrated our Temple of Democracy in a violent attempt to subvert the peaceful transfer of power,” Pelosi posted to X.

Pelosi then ranted for another six paragraphs about how the “parable of January 6th reminds us that our precious democratic institutions are only as strong as the courage and commitment of those entrusted with their care.”

This sort of grandstanding would be obnoxious enough from any Democrat, but it’s particularly rich — no, not your beloved stocks, Nancy — coming from Pelosi.

As much of social media reminded her, Pelosi herself reportedly turned down an offer from then-President Trump to have the National Guard help quell the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion.

It’s been an oft-repeated talking point:

https://platform.twitter.com/embed/Tweet.html?dnt=false&embedId=twitter-widget-2&features=eyJ0ZndfdGltZWxpbmVfbGlzdCI6eyJidWNrZXQiOltdLCJ2ZXJzaW9uIjpudWxsfSwidG

Whether or not incumbent President Joe Biden or Pelosi ever want to admit it, Jan. 6 was, in fact, a failure. But it wasn’t some failure of Trump’s.

No, it was a failure of coddled, insulated political leadership — the same sort of “leadership” that the Pelosi’s and Biden’s of the world clearly specialize in.

And now that the narrative of Jan. 6 has largely been repudiated with Trump’s dominant Nov. 5, 2024, victory, Democrats are flailing about trying to keep the onus on Trump.

It’s not working.

And if a few more lifetime politicians like Pelosi could get ratioed in the process of this narrative not working, that would be just swell.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – A PAUSE FOR HUMOR AND REFLECTION.

01/07/2024

There are times when even we can inject some humor for some honesty “outside of the box.”

Wonder how people would handle this in “another time and place?”

God Bless Our Country and to those who have tried to keep our country “sane.”

KOMMONSENTSJANE – WE MUST CALL FORCE MAJEURE ON BIDEN/DEMOCRATS IN ORDER FOR THE PEOPLE TO GET THEIR JUSTICE.

01/07/2024

Plain and simple?

All of the executive orders Biden wrote should be made null and void since Biden has dementia and Schumer said the Democrats lost their minds which includes him.

We have to make them responsible.

Force Majeure

  • In contract law, force majeure is a common clause in contracts which essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties

Four years of scamming the American people by the Biden/Democrats and not only were Pelosi/Obama and Schumer/Harris involved – everyone knew and even tried to swing another four years in 2024.

Lawyers must check this out.

Jonathan Turley, a legal analyst and attorney critized the credibility of the “hush money” trial against President Trump – CALLIING IT ‘BIZARRE’ AND A TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT.”

Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, was the director of digital persuasion for Kamala Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign. His daughter has also worked, indirectly, for the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign through a communications firm that provides services for progressive campaigns.

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said Tuesday that the judge overseeing President-elect Donald Trump’s hush money case could count Trump’s upcoming presidency as community service.

Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case, granted a request on Tuesday made by prosecutors and defense teams to pause all deadlines and the president-elect’s sentencing date in order to review the impact of Trump’s victory. Turley said the idea of imposing a delay on the case until after Trump’s presidency would not be a “welcome” idea, suggesting that the judge could instead count the presidency as community service or ensure there be no jail time.

“There’s gonna be some maneuvering going on as to what can be still reviewed,” Turley told Fox News. “In terms of leaving a case suspended for 4 years, it’s just a very odd way of addressing this. You know, the sentencing only create[s] a conflict with the president’s presidential duties if the judge sentences limitations on the president. He could’ve simply said ‘I’m not going to impose jail time or home confinement.’ He could even say that being president is equivalent to community service.”

“So there’s a lot of way that he could’ve handled this, so I think if we play this out a bit, we’re gonna have to see what the Trump lawyers do. I don’t know if they will welcome the idea that they’re just gonna keep this thing as a zombie case for 4 years,” Turley said.

A jury convicted Trump in late May on 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 hush money payment to former porn actress Stormy Daniels, who alleged she had an affair with the now-president-elect in 2006. Merchan set the sentencing date to Nov. 26 in order for it to occur after the election, but the judge has now paused the case until Nov. 19.

Trump’s victory in the Nov. 5 election makes it “logistically impossible” for him to serve any jail time during his presidency because a state cannot “interfere with a President’s ability to do his job,” legal experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Wednesday.

Special Counsel Jack Smith is currently talking with the Department of Justice (DOJ) about dropping the two federal cases he imposed against Trump for allegedly storing classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, and for allegedly engaging in conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results on January 6, 2021.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged Trump and 18 other individuals in August 2023 for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, though the case has been on hold since June to assess whether Willis should be disqualified over an undisclosed relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
