Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said he was “concerned” after meeting with Pam Bondi, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to be attorney general.

(Yes, I would be, too, since you have been part of the weaponized Biden/Democrat system and no law and order or the Constitution. Also, with nothing getting done the last four years.

Overall, the 118th Congress saw 224 laws passed, the lowest number since at least the 82nd Congress, which met in 1951 and 1952. While that productivity low cannot be blamed entirely on the House, as Democrats controlled the Senate and the White House, it gives some idea of the holding pattern nature of the 118th, as many issues were kicked down the road to see who would win in November.

Bondi, a staunch Trump loyalist, is making the rounds in Congress, hoping to garner support before her two-day confirmation hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 15, and Thursday, Jan. 16.

Durbin posted on X, “I just met with Pam Bondi, Donald Trump’s attorney general pick. Given her responses to my questions, I remain concerned about her ability to serve as an Attorney General who will put her oath to the Constitution ahead of her fealty to Donald Trump.”

Bondi served as Florida’s attorney general from 2011 to 2019 and as Trump’s personal lawyer during his first impeachment trial in 2020. Trump nominated her for attorney general after his first choice, former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), dropped out of consideration in November over ethics concerns.

Durbin also released a longer statement through the Senate Judiciary Committee, calling Bondi a “leader in the effort to overturn the 2020 election,” and wrote that she has “echoed the President-elect’s calls for prosecuting his political opponents. In addition, Ms. Bondi has a long track record of opposing fundamental civil rights, including reproductive rights, voting rights, and LGBTQ+ rights.”

Durbin said he’s hoping to learn more about Bondi and her “vision for the Department of Justice” when she comes before the Judiciary Committee next week.

“The American people deserve an Attorney General who will protect their fundamental rights, demonstrate independence and integrity, and remain faithful to the Constitution, the country, and the rule of law above all,” Durbin wrote.

(Where have you been for the past four years with no Constitution and rule of law.)

When nominating Bondi, Trump posted to social media, “For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans – Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again.”

A bipartisan group of 110 senior Justice Department officials who served under both Democratic and Republican administrations, wrote a letter of recommendation to the Senate Judiciary Committee urging Bondi’s confirmation,” Fox News Digital reported. They cited her “commitment to the rule of law and her track record as Florida’s former attorney general that they said makes her uniquely qualified for the role.”

Durbin is afraid of her intelligence and know-how.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – GIVE THE DEMOCRAT SPEAKER A CRYING TOWEL.

01/09/2025

The shambolic nature of the House of Representatives in the just-ended 118th Congress has Democrats pinning at least some of their hopes for stopping Republicans in the new Congress on disunity within the House GOP.

Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) put it plainly in his weekly press conference at the U.S. Capitol Wednesday in responding to Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) taunt Tuesday that Democrats were struggling with their identity after the 2024 election losses.

“Why are you talking about an identity crisis?” Jeffries said when asked about Johnson’s comment.

“The Republican conference is filled with marauding bands of individuals who can’t stand each other. And Democrats, as far as I can tell, are unified in our determination to make life better for the American people.”

(What a joke!)

Jeffries didn’t specify why he described Republicans that way, but there were many examples in the last Congress.

The most famous was probably Rep. Chip Roy’s (R-Texas) imploring on the House floor for his Republican colleagues to tell him “one thing” he and his fellow party members had done for America.

(What’s Hakeem talking about – the Republican was asking a question – Hakeem was in charge before the election when Pelosi gave him the gavel/halo and did nothing. Why is that – the Democrats were too busy baby-sitting with Biden. They didn’t have to spend a dime because Biden did it for them.)

On significant bills to keep the government open temporarily or provide more military aid to Ukraine, the House GOP conference split sharply and Johnson had to turn to Democrats for help.

Democrats nominate Hakeem Jeffries for House speaker.

(Do they get to vote – aren’t they are told who will be the speaker. Is Jeffries a rep of the Constitution and did he take his oath on the Bible or the Koran?)

(There should be a bill passed when a congress person runs for office – they must sign an oath that they will protect the Constitution. The Democrats/Biden did not follow the rules of law/Constitution and should have been kicked out of office. The Democrats have people who are backing Hamas against Israel.)

(Also, when a terrorists attack occurs like New Orleans and the Police have follow-up investigations, the Police must use the same rules for investigation in the Muslim community as they do in any other community. They can’t be giving the Police the finger as they did in this case by telling the community not to answer in questions. That isn’t how it works. This is the U.S.A. not the Middle East.)

House Republicans hold a historically narrow 219-215 edge in the House now, even smaller than the one in the previous Congress. Jeffries mocked how well that will work for the House GOP ahead.

(The GOP did have more; but, President Trump will be using the ones who are missing – but who were elected – in his cabinet positions, which is an honor.)

“It’s going to be interesting to see how Republicans, with their overwhelming majority in the House and the Senate and the overwhelming electoral mandate that they have, can get things done to lower costs for the American people,” he said.

(Whatever gets done will be more than the Democrats have done in eight years and still not waste trillions of dollars as they did.)

(I think Hakeem should worry about the Democrats not the GOP. What has Hakeem/Pelosi done for four years under Biden but raid the treasury and look at the debt. They need a new leader that knows about math.)

“That’s the situation in front of us. I look forward to the proposals that are put forth by my extreme [Make American Great Again] Republican colleagues to actually keep their word.”

(The problem with the Democrats – they worked on nothing but how to tear up the country with a demented President. But that was the original plan by Pelosi/Obama.)

KOMMONSENTSJANE – STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES. Need new leaders in CA – who will look out for the voters.

Why is there a shortage of water?

How does desalination work?

If we can support millions of illegals – we can pay for having more water available – especially for fires.

There are two main ways in which salty water is made fit for human consumption: thermal desalination and reverse osmosis.

Thermal desalination causes the water to evaporate and condense, leaving salt and other impurities behind, while reverse osmosis uses a filter membrane that only allows water molecules through, thereby separating it from salt and other substances.

Because reverse osmosis, which was invented in the US in the 1950s, is the more energy efficient of the two approaches, it is more widely used. Around 70 percent of desalinated water is achieved using this process.

Once the water is purified, minerals and chemicals are added to meet the standards required for safe and healthy drinking water.

Status of Desalination Plants in California | The Lyncean Group of San Diego

Eight operating desalination plants

California currently has eight operating desalination plants and three facilities in the planning or permitting phase3The four major desalination plants in California are the Carlsbad Desalination Plant, Santa Barbara Desalination Plant, Monterey Peninsula Desalination Plant, and the proposed Doheny Ocean Desalination Plant4Recently, a $140 million desalination plant was approved in California to convert up to 5 million gallons of seawater each day into drinking water5

Ocean view properties and not enough water? The governor should be removed from office Fire hydrants did not have any water available?

Something is terribly wrong with this leadership.

Watch: Trump’s Three-Month Old Warning About California Just Came True!

It’s time to add another one to the “Trump was right again” pile! Just three months ago, when President Trump appeared on the Joe Rogan Podcast, he discussed California’s ongoing water and wildfire problems. He even had solutions, but of course, the usual suspects couldn’t handle Trump being right.

During their conversation, Trump pointed out how California’s progressive environmental policies were causing water rationing and barren farmlands, while also preventing the clearing of dead trees in forests. He suggested that the state had more than enough water available, but it was being mismanaged due to these policies.

But instead of listening to Trump’s sound advice, the liberal media and politicians dismissed him once again. They refused to acknowledge the real issue of water dispersal and management, and instead blamed climate change and Trump himself for the wildfires.

Act Fast!

Fast forward three months, and we see the disastrous consequences of their neglect. California is facing the worst fires in a generation, and their fire hydrants are empty. All because the powers that be were more concerned with protecting a tiny fish than managing their resources wisely.

This is not the first time that Trump has been proven right, despite the constant attacks from the liberal establishment. From the economy to foreign policy, and now even on issues like water management and wildfires, Trump’s predictions and solutions have been proven to be accurate and effective.

Watch

It’s time for the liberal media to stop their relentless attacks on Trump and start listening to him. He has a proven track record of being right, and it’s time for them to acknowledge that instead of constantly dismissing and belittling him.

In the midst of these crises, one thing is clear: Americans can stockpile Ivermectin and other key prescription medicines, just as Trump has advised. It’s time to listen to the man who has consistently been ahead of the curve and put his advice into action.

The California wildfires and water crisis are just further proof that Trump knows what he’s talking about. Don’t believe us? Just rewatch his appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast – it’s all there.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – Documents Suggest Pelosi and Fani Willis Coordinated on Trump Probe.

01/08/2024

The oil is rising to the surface.

Judicial Watch has unveiled what it claims is evidence of direct coordination between Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 committee, raising serious questions about the impartiality of investigations targeting former President Donald Trump.

The documents were disclosed following a legal battle where Judicial Watch forced Fulton County to release withheld records. These communications, according to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, demonstrate a coordinated effort to undermine Trump and his allies.

The controversy emerged after the Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia, ordered a payment of $21,578 in attorney’s fees to Judicial Watch. The fees stemmed from an open-records lawsuit seeking communications between Fani Willis, Special Counsel Jack Smith, and Pelosi’s January 6 committee.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton discussed the findings on Steve Bannon’s War Room. Bannon didn’t hold back, stating, “You now have evidence about Fani Willis and Nancy Pelosi colluding together on this vast criminal conspiracy against President Trump and other J6ers.”

Fitton detailed how the lawsuit forced the disclosure of documents after Fulton County repeatedly denied their existence. “They didn’t even bother to show up in court and answer a lawsuit,” he noted, adding that the county defaulted on the case. This failure to defend their position led to a court order mandating the release of the records.

Among the documents are communications that Judicial Watch claims demonstrate coordination between Willis’s investigation and Pelosi’s January 6 committee. These alleged connections are particularly significant given Trump’s indictment in Fulton County over his efforts to challenge the 2020 election results.

Fitton argued that the documents expose the political nature of the investigation. “We caught her,” he stated. “She finally had to fess up to having documents … and just last night, the court told her she has to give us $20,000 in attorney’s fees.”

The records reportedly include at least one letter from Fani Willis to Rep. Bennie Thompson, the chairman of the January 6 committee. This letter, Fitton suggests, highlights a collaborative effort to target Trump and his allies.

While Judicial Watch has achieved a significant victory in uncovering these records, Fitton emphasized that the fight for transparency isn’t over. “We’re still fighting for the full release of the records,” he said. He also accused Fulton County of deliberately obstructing the process by initially denying the existence of the documents.

The court-ordered payment of attorney’s fees underscores the gravity of the case. According to Fitton, “If you don’t show up in court and you’re a government agency, that’s kind of a big deal.”

The revelations have ignited a firestorm of criticism, particularly among conservatives, who view the findings as further evidence of political weaponization. Many argue that the alleged coordination between Willis and Pelosi undermines the legitimacy of the Fulton County investigation.

Critics contend that the investigations into Trump have been driven more by political motives than a genuine pursuit of justice. Fitton echoed these sentiments, calling the coordination “a political collusion targeting Trump and his supporters.”

The latest disclosures add to growing skepticism about the impartiality of government institutions. Conservatives have long accused the January 6 committee of operating as a partisan body, and these findings could bolster claims of bias in the Trump investigations.

The timing of Trump’s Fulton County indictment, coupled with the alleged involvement of figures like Pelosi, has fueled speculation that the investigations are part of a broader effort to derail his political career.

Judicial Watch’s findings are likely to intensify calls for accountability and transparency in government investigations. The organization continues to push for the full release of records, arguing that the public has a right to know the extent of the alleged coordination.

For now, the revelations serve as a rallying cry for Trump’s supporters, who view these investigations as politically motivated attacks. The court-ordered payment to Judicial Watch also signals a significant setback for Fulton County, potentially casting doubt on the credibility of Willis’s probe.

As the legal battles unfold, the broader implications of these findings remain to be seen. However, one thing is clear: the fight over transparency, fairness, and the rule of law is far from over.

This development will undoubtedly continue to be a focal point in the ongoing debates surrounding Trump’s legal challenges and the integrity of government institutions. Whether this leads to broader accountability or further polarization remains uncertain, but the stakes couldn’t be higher.
