KOMMONSENTSJANE – Joe Biden gave one insane reason for a bad decision that left Democrats in disbelief.

01/11/2025

This one was a tough one to put out – Google fought me all the way in this way with words. And, to think I am paying them to use this sight and they treat their customers in this fashion. Wonder if they will ever change? I know that their leader promised they would stop interfering with our words; but, I guess they haven’t got the message, yet?

Schumer states – THE DEMOCRATS ARE INSANE which includes Schumer/Biden. If they are insane – why are they being allowed to make any decisions? Look at the debt and crazy decisions the left has made and the world continues to treat him as if he has all of his marbles.

I guess the world has gone crazy, too!

Joe Biden’s time in the White House is winding down.

He’s giving Democrats more heartburn on his way out the door.

And Joe Biden gave one insane reason for a bad decision that left Democrats in disbelief.

Biden administration cites “indigenous knowledge” to stop oil drilling in Alaska

President Joe Biden declared war on American energy production on his first day in the White House.

The Biden administration has spent the last four years trying to stop mining and oil drilling in Alaska.

Oil drilling was halted on tens of millions of acres of land in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A), oil and gas leases signed during the Trump administration were canceled, and Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stopped a major mining project in the state.

Biden administration officials would justify these decisions as protecting the environment and helping the Native American communities in Alaska.

Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland cited “Indigenous Knowledge” in a decision to halt oil drilling on 13 million acres in NPR-A.

“President Biden is delivering on the most ambitious climate and conservation agenda in history,” Haaland claimed. “The steps we are taking today further that commitment, based on the best available science and in recognition of the Indigenous Knowledge of the original stewards of this area, to safeguard our public lands for future generations.”

The Biden administration likes to claim it’s making decisions in the best interest of Alaska’s Native American tribes and relying on “Indigenous knowledge,” but that isn’t the case.

Alaska’s Native American tribes upset over Biden’s war on energy

Voice of the Arctic Inupiat President Nagruk Harcharek represents Native American communities in the North Slope of Alaska.

He told the Daily Caller that the Biden administration ignored his group’s pitch for the benefit that energy production brought to the area.

“I started here in 2022. The first thing I did was try to get in there and make sure our voices were heard, because what we’re hearing from the administration is that we’re the most tribally-friendly administration in the history of the United States, right?” Harcharek explained. “At least from our perspective, that’s not our impression.”

Harcharek expressed frustration that Native Americans weren’t consulted on what was good for the environment and the North Slope.

“We’ve always tried to stress that we are part of the environment. We utilize it for subsistence hunting, for our culture, and it’s extremely important to us. We don’t need to be protected from our own environment,” Harcharek said. “We can make decisions and help administrations make decisions that are both good for the region and also good for the environment and good for the state, good for the nation.”

He would discover what was happening in Alaska from the news instead of the Biden administration.

“That just wasn’t the case. There was a lack of engagement, meaningful engagement,” Harcharek stated. “Oftentimes, we heard of policy changes in the news and not from phone calls from folks, even though everybody has our number.”

Voice of the Arctic Inupiat tried to meet with Secretary Haaland nine times but only managed to secure one meeting.

“Sometimes we didn’t even get a response from those emails, so saying that they’re the most tribally-friendly and then not speaking to most of our tribes or us in a timely manner or a meaningful manner, the just question is, who are you? Who considers you the most tribally friendly organization? Because it sure isn’t us, or we’re not getting that sentiment,” Harcharek added.

The Biden administration used phony support for Native Americans as cover for a war on energy production.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – WATCH! “No Pun Intended”: Biden’s Wildfire Gaffe Leaves Californians Fuming

01/11/2025

California and the Democrat Progressive voters got what they asked for when they turned the state over to these people with DEI FOLKS, especially Pelosi’s nephew. Everything in the U.S. was going according to their plans. They wanted to install a dictator, Biden, to steer the ship under a man who was sick in 2020. Well, here is CA in the middle of the ocean and they didn’t have enough water and law and order to keep the people safe from harm.

They all need to look in the mirror and ask – how do we get out of this mess?

There is no sympathy when people won’t listen and think they know best and have to learn the hard way.

How many years has CA had fires and did nothing to make provisions for fires of this nature?

Stupid is as stupid does. Time for people to learn from these fires and the loss of lives and properties. Will they or will the continue making fun of the person who is not a dictator – President Trump, and make CA great again? Time will tell – because some people never learn.

In the past, CA was a beautiful place to visit, but now, forget it.

CA did this to themselves when they voted in folks to lead them into this mess. There are other states who are in this same shape and should learn from what happened to CA.

When I see what these two/Pelosi/Obama have done to our country and President Trump – they have no dignity or honor in their soul. The only honor they have is among thieves. It makes me sad to say those things – but, to spend and place our country and people in this position is a disgrace. They have no shame.

WATCH! “No Pun Intended”: Biden’s Wildfire Gaffe Leaves Californians Fuming

President Joe Biden did what he does best during a briefing on the devastating wildfires tearing through California: he made a joke. And not just any joke. With homes reduced to ash and thousands displaced, Biden quipped, “So you fire away, no pun intended,” while handing the mic to Vice President Kamala Harris.

No pun intended, Joe? Really? Because for the thousands of Californians who just lost everything, there’s nothing funny about fire. This isn’t the first time Biden’s mouth has written a check his empathy can’t cash, but this one stings in a particular way.

Let’s set the stage. Wildfires have ravaged Los Angeles County, claiming at least five lives and destroying thousands of homes. Entire neighborhoods are unrecognizable. Families are living in temporary shelters. The air is thick with smoke and despair. And here comes Biden, the supposed “empathetic unifier,” cracking jokes like he’s hosting open mic night.

To his credit—and I’ll admit, it’s a very small bit of credit—Biden announced that the federal government will cover 100% of the disaster response costs for the next 180 days. That means debris removal, temporary shelters, and first responders’ salaries will be federally funded. Good. That’s what should happen when disaster strikes. But here’s the thing: when you’re this bad at delivering your message, you overshadow even the good news.

Biden tells speakers to ‘fire away!’ during LA wildfire briefing

Tone Deaf Leadership

This isn’t the first time Biden has shown he’s out of touch. During the Maui wildfires in 2023, where over 100 people tragically lost their lives, Biden stood in front of a search-and-rescue dog wearing protective boots and joked, “That’s some hot ground, man.” If you’re thinking that’s bad, remember, this is the guy who’s famous for saying, “Come on, man!” like that’s supposed to be a coherent defense. His Maui blunder was widely criticized, but apparently, no lesson was learned. Here we are again, watching Biden fumble through one of the most basic tasks of leadership: showing empathy.

Is it cognitive decline? Maybe. Is it just Joe being Joe? Also maybe. Either way, it’s infuriating to see a man in such a critical position of power consistently fail to rise to the occasion.

Actions Speak Louder—And So Do Words

What makes Biden’s joke so offensive isn’t just the timing. It’s the broader message it sends: he doesn’t really get it. His words betray a fundamental lack of connection to what’s happening on the ground. It’s not just a political faux pas; it’s a window into how detached he is from the pain and suffering of the American people.

And let’s not forget, this is the same administration that’s constantly touting how “compassionate” they are compared to the last guy. If this is compassion, I’d hate to see indifference.

California’s Fiscal Folly

Of course, Biden isn’t the only one who deserves criticism here. California’s leadership has plenty of blame to shoulder. The state’s mismanagement of forests and failure to address critical infrastructure issues have made wildfires a recurring nightmare. Governor Gavin Newsom’s administration seems more interested in virtue signaling than in enacting policies that prevent these disasters in the first place.

But Biden’s joke handed the critics of California’s leadership an easy out. Instead of focusing on systemic problems, the conversation—understandably—turns to Biden’s lack of tact.

Final Thoughts

Here’s the bottom line: the President of the United States should be someone who lifts people up in their darkest moments, not someone who makes them roll their eyes or clench their fists in frustration. Biden’s “fire away” joke wasn’t just inappropriate; it was a reminder that this administration’s greatest strength might be its ability to make us miss competence, clarity, and common sense.

If this is the best Biden can do, it’s time for him to seriously reconsider how he communicates with the American people. We’re tired of excuses. We’re tired of missteps. And most of all, we’re tired of a leader who thinks he’s playing to the crowd when the crowd just wants him to stop talking.  Thank goodness Jan 20th is less than 2 weeks away!

****

It makes me sad for a country who has offered so much to opportunity and to see ignorant people voted in and squander it all – when Americans deserve better. They just let the wrong people get a hold of the “keys to the kingdom” and were afraid to defy them for 12 years.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – Commentary about Trump’s sentencing will be about the tactics of lawfare: John Yoo

01/11/2025

Was the Trump case and conviction a witch hunt?

Ariel Kohane, 53, said he showed up to express his outrage. The Upper West Side resident was wearing a red yarmulke with “Trump” written on the front.

“He’s not a convicted felon in our hearts and minds, even though he technically is on paper,” Kohane told me.

Amen to that statement.

Lawfare is still the name of the game played by the Democrats’ judges. How do they get by these fake trials. Who calls the balls and strikes in the judicial system? How can a rogue judge go rogue and not be called out? Yoo talked about lawfare; but, how is that legal when a case is a “make up” case.

It seems that no other judge wants to “get his hands dirty.” Where do the “ethics” come into play? Look what they did to supreme court Judge Brett Kavanaugh and how a witness lied about rape and later recanted it happened that she did not know him. Nothing was every done to those liars. Maybe, that is the problem – people can lie in court and get away with the lie.
