As your Texas Land Commissioner, I’m committed to helping our state retain its energy independence and economic vitality.
Like I told Shale Magazine, that means I will unapologetically defend the oil and gas industry.
But I will also explore new technologies that align with our state’s economic and environmental goals.
Texas already produces natural gas more cleanly than anywhere else in the world, and I am continuing to promote responsible land use and clean, dependable energy sources.
As the steward of more than 13 million acres of state-owned land, my responsibilities of course include protecting natural resources, but did you know my job also involves maximizing revenue for Texas schoolchildren?
The oil and gas production, carbon sequestration, and mineral acquisition that takes place on these state lands generate revenue for the Permanent School Fund (PSF).
The PSF is worth $56 billion, all of which funds public education in our state.

It is astounding that this issue remains largely underreported by the mainstream media. The recent investigation spearheaded by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her subcommittee, lovingly dubbed DOGE, has unveiled a staggering $2.7 trillion in improper payments made by the US government since 2003. This number is both shocking and sobering, yet the liberal media has largely chosen not to highlight these findings which paint a concerning picture of government waste and ineptitude.
Earlier this week, Real America’s Voice’s Brian Glenn directly addressed White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt regarding the massive fraud unveiled by DOGE. Glenn put on record that this substantial mismanagement involved Medicare and Medicaid payments going overseas and payments being issued to ineligible recipients. Yet, his query echoes in rooms occupied by those more concerned with pushing political agendas than confronting harsh truths.
Brian Glenn questioned: “I want to go back to DOGE for just a second. Earlier the subcommittee headed by Chairman Marjorie Taylor Greene, her and her staff discovered $2.7 trillion in improper payments to Medicare, Medicaid, overseas, to people who should not have gotten it, some in this room might have missed that press conference. Can you elaborate on what the President is thinking at this point?”
In response, Leavitt underscored the systematic fraud, waste, and abuse that have occurred, mentioning: “Well, again, that’s another example, there is a very long list of the fraud, waste, and abuse that DOGE is identifying on a daily basis. Elon Musk also talked yesterday about Social Security payments that are going out the door for people who are no longer with us, unfortunately.”
Leavitt also reminded the public of President Trump’s campaign promise to tackle such inefficiencies, adding, “I would just are mind everybody in this room, this is what President Trump campaigned on doing. He’s delivering on a promise that 77 million people elected him to do.”
She pointed out the millions of dollars potentially lost to fraudulent contracts, saying, “I would say that is certainly fraud. There is also a lot of contracts they’ve identified that, just as a hypothetical example, are a million bucks been only $500,000 went out the door, so where’s the rest of that cash? And so, that’s the thing — those are the things that DOGE is working on every single day.”

Elon Musk Fires Warning Shot: Federal Reserve May Face DOGE Audit

Well, well, well. It looks like Elon Musk is kicking the hornet’s nest again. This time, he’s got his sights set on the Federal Reserve—a private banking cartel masquerading as a government entity. Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is circling like a shark, sniffing out the bloated bureaucracies that siphon trillions from the American people. And now, the Fed—an unelected, unaccountable cabal that prints money out of thin air—may be next in line for an audit.
Predictably, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell is sweating bullets, brushing off concerns with bureaucratic doublespeak. The establishment doesn’t like transparency, and they sure as hell don’t like scrutiny from a billionaire who actually understands how money works. If Musk keeps this up, expect the regime to push back hard—lawsuits, regulatory investigations, maybe even a good old-fashioned media smear campaign.
But here’s the bottom line: If the Fed is so innocent, why are they so scared of an audit?
Musk’s DOGE Audit Targets the Fed—And the Establishment Panics
Elon Musk is at it again, and this time, he’s taking on the ultimate power player—the Federal Reserve. On Sunday, Musk signaled that his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) may soon be digging into the central bank’s shadowy operations.
Replying to a post on X about the need for a Fed audit, Musk made it clear:
“All aspects of the government must be fully transparent and accountable to the people. No exceptions, including, if not especially, the Federal Reserve.”
That’s a direct shot across the bow of the most untouchable institution in America. The Federal Reserve operates in near-total secrecy, controlling interest rates, inflating the money supply, and bailing out Wall Street whenever the casino economy implodes. And all of it is done without any real oversight from the people it supposedly serves.
The Fed’s Overstaffed Bureaucracy—And Its Fear of Exposure
Musk has been calling out the Fed’s incompetence for years. In May 2024, he exposed just how bloated the institution really is:
“The Fed has a crazy high number of employees.”
And let’s not forget his criticism of their disastrous monetary policies. While real Americans were getting crushed by inflation, the Fed dithered, refusing to cut interest rates in time. Musk was right back in August when he warned:
“The Fed needs to drop rates. Foolish not to have done so already.”
Sure enough, the Fed caved, slashing rates in September, November, and December. But let’s be honest—these cuts weren’t about helping the American people. They were about propping up a failing system that only benefits Wall Street and the political elite.
Powell and the Bureaucrats Push Back
Of course, the Federal Reserve isn’t about to roll over and let Musk expose its inner workings. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell—an unelected bureaucrat who controls the fate of the U.S. economy—shrugged off Musk’s concerns at a press conference last month:
“We run a very careful budget process where we’re fully aware. We owe that to the public, and we believe we do that. I’ve got no further comment on that, thanks.”
Translation? Shut up and move along, peasants. Nothing to see here.
It’s the same tired response every time: Deny accountability, refuse to answer real questions, and hope the public forgets. But with Musk and DOGE shining a light on the rot at the heart of the system, people are waking up.
The Regime Will Strike Back—Will You Be Ready?
Here’s the reality: If Musk’s audit efforts gain traction, expect a brutal counterattack from the establishment. They’ve already tried blocking DOGE from accessing Treasury records. What’s next? Investigations? Regulatory crackdowns? A full-scale media hit piece campaign branding Musk as a “threat to democracy”?
The Federal Reserve has been operating in the shadows for over a century. The last time someone seriously threatened their power—President John F. Kennedy—he didn’t live long enough to see the fallout.
Musk isn’t JFK, but he’s got a target on his back now. And if the Fed is scared of an audit, you should be asking yourself why.

HOW DO WE SHOW LOVE?
Romantic love: Affection, gifts, intimacy, acts of service.
Humanity love: Acts of kindness, charity, forgiveness.
There are also the five love languages:
• Words of affirmation
• Acts of service
• Receiving gifts
• Quality time
• Physical touch
WHAT IS LOVE?
IS IT A REAL THING?
Love is an emotion and an action — it is a deep connection that can be experienced biologically, psychologically and spiritually.
Neuroscience shows love activates the reward system in the brain, releasing dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin, reinforcing the reality of love.
On a philosophical basis, love has been debated for centuries, but its impact on individuals and society is undeniable.
IS IT IMPORTANT TO LOVE?
Yes, love is essential for human connection and well-being.
Studies show love enhances mental and physical health, builds relationships and gives life meaning. The absence of love can lead to loneliness, depression and emotional distress.
Love creates strong communities and drives acts of compassion and sacrifice.
Love is beautiful and challenging. It requires patience, commitment, understanding and vulnerability.
Love can be hard when it involves heartbreak, rejection or sacrifice.
Love can be said when it is unconditional, mutual and nurtured over time.
Real true love often demands effort and selflessness, making it one of life’s greatest challenges and rewards.
The greatest lovers in history and literature are Jesus Christ, Romeo and Juliet, Cleopatra and Mark Antony, Johnny Cash and June Carter.
Men tend to express love through actions, such as providing, protecting, problem solving.
Men value respect and admiration.
Women tend to express love through words and emotions, nurturing, emotional connection.
Women seek emotional security and connection.
