KOMMONSENTSJANE – DR MUSK PERFORMED A LOBOTOMY ON THE DEMOCRATS’ GOVERNMENT FRAUD ON THE PEOPLE.

04/06/2025

They are still in recovery mode.

The country, we thought, just needed a shave and a hair cut; but Musk found it was more grave. It revealed the Democrats starting with Clinton/Obama used America for their own greed/selfishness. Dr. Musk with his extraction team, had to perform a lobotomy on the government with no regard to race/creed/color – and the findings were astounding as to how many parts had to be extracted due to pure rot. The patients are having a hard time recovering and still haven’t accepted their illness.

After running the tests on the results – it was found the country’s cancer was spread through the entire government and the cancerous parts had to be extracted/removed and is now going through the reconstruction mode.

Dr. Musk said it would take time. In my opinion he needs to leave a crew in charge until the system adjusts and recovers from the changes in body temperature.

Once hailed as President Trump’s right-hand man, Elon Musk is now facing a serious fall from grace in Washington.

The tech billionaire was appointed as a special adviser to the president, but his time in the White House is now spiraling out of control

Musk is currently overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the brand-new federal agency tasked with ‘making the government leaner, faster, and cheaper’.

He rolled out big plans to cut hundreds of thousands of government jobs and reduce federal spending by a whopping $2 trillion.

But his aggressive slash and burn approach to the federal work force and his frequent outbursts on X – his social media platform – have upset Trump cabinet members.

The president himself was reportedly incensed that Musk was given clearance for a Pentagon briefing on China, as he was concerned it represented a potential conflict with the tech mogul’s business dealings.

And in another split, Musk took to X over the weekend to bash Trump’s trade adviser Peter Navarro over his defense of the president’s tariffs.

Trump is a still a big fan of Musk sources say, but it appears that two are destined to part despite a whopping $288 million campaign donation.Once hailed as President Trump's right-hand man, Elon Musk is now facing a serious downfall in Washington. Trump recognized potential difficulties early on, according to the WSJ.

He asked his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, to have weekly meetings with the billionaire ‘first buddy’ after receiving reports of friction among his top staff.

But, Wiles wasn’t the only person Musk clashed with. Related video: Musk Under Fire: Tariffs, Tesla Attacks, and a Billion-Dollar Shuffle (The Tesla Space)

He and Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly had it out during a Cabinet meeting – an argument that took place in front of Trump and Wiles.

Many Trump officials – including Wiles – were said to be frustrated that Musk wasn’t sharing his plans before he made public announcements about what his DOGE team was doing to their agencies.

His lack of coordination would reportedly throw off the White House message of the day and rollout plans for the administration’s initiatives.

In February, at a major conservative event, Musk made a public spectacle of himself when he walked on stage holding a chainsaw allegedly to show how serious he was about cutting government waste.

While the X owner felt it was a bold move, the jaw-dropping stunt was seen as ‘too extreme’ by many of Trump’s allies.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a top Republican, warned that the shocking moment would end up being used against other Republicans in the upcoming elections as the image of Musk with a chainsaw was seen as a symbol of his reckless approach to politics.

Musk’s style in the White House is becoming increasingly erratic and has earned  the SpaceX founder a reputation for being difficult to work with.A Safer Approach for Fungus-Prone Nails

Critics say he offers little explanation for his wild ideas or sudden changes of direction.

The Tesla CEO made headlines when he claimed that the US Social Security system had major problems, like listing people who were over 120 years old.

While it seemed like an important issue, Musk exaggerated the claims and Trump even repeated them in a speech without checking the facts first – adding to the confusion surrounding Musk’s role in the White House.

While Trump continues to say that he likes Musk personally, it’s clear that their professional relationship is in trouble.

Trump has reportedly informed his Cabinet and inner circle that Musk will be stepping back from his high-profile government role in the coming weeks.

‘Musk will soon be returning to the business world,’ Politico reported.

But many don’t expect Musk to entirely disappear.

One aide told Politico that anyone who thinks Musk is going to vanish from Trump’s orbit is ‘fooling themselves.’

The Tesla founder will likely still have regular access to Trump and an open invitation to the Oval Office.

And he’s likely to still hang out a Mar-a-Lago, where he and Trump frequently dine together.

Musk has cemented himself as one of the most powerful figures in the Republican Party, using his vast financial resources to make himself a force to be reckoned with.

But Democrats are expected to use him as a boogeyman – as the Republicans did to Nancy Pelosi – in the upcoming midterm election where control of Congress is at stake.

A recent NBC News poll found a majority of voters nationwide (51 percent) hold a negative view of Musk, while 39 percent viewed him positively.

Musk will also have to deal with the fallout of Trump’s decisions when he gets back to the business world.

Tesla will be subject to Trump’s automotive tariffs as its key suppliers are in Mexico and China.

‘Important to note that Tesla is NOT unscathed here,’ Musk wrote on social media last week of the tariffs. ‘The cost impact is not trivial.’

Trump’s 25 percent tariff went into effect on April 2 as part of the president’s broader trade war.

Meanwhile, Tesla’s global vehicle deliveries fell 13 percent in the first quarter from a year ago, in what investors saw a sign of backlash against Musk’s government work.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – Are Trump’s Tariffs Really Tariffs?

04/06/2025

Is President Trump giving out a dose of medicine to the foreign countries who are calling them tariffs?

How many years has the U.S. been “taking these countries to raise” and taking it “on the chin.” Much too long!

This is a good lesson for them to show them “how good the U.S. has been” and they never appreciated it. They always took our goodwill for granted.

Are Trump’s Tariffs Really Tariffs?

26 Comments / February 6, 2025

Victor Davis Hanson
American Greatness

Hysteria has erupted here and abroad over President Trump’s threats to level trade tariffs against particular countries.

Both American and foreign critics blasted them variously as either counterproductive and suicidal or unfair, imperialistic, and xenophobic.

Certainly, tariffs are widely hated by doctrinaire economists. They complain that tariffs burden consumers with higher prices to protect weak domestic industries that, shielded from competition, will have no incentive to improve efficiency.

Their ideal is “free” trade. Supposedly a free global market alone should adjudicate which particular industry in any country can produce the greatest good for the world’s consumers, whether defined by lower prices or better quality, or both.

Even when “free trade” becomes “unfair trade”—such as China’s massive mercantile surpluses—many neoliberal economists still insist that even subsidized foreign imports are beneficial.

Cheap imports, Americans were told, supposedly still lowered prices for consumers, still forced domestic producers to economize to remain competitive, and still brought “creative destruction,” as inefficient domestic industries properly gave way to more efficient, market-driven ones.

But many exporters to the U.S. are propped up by their own governments.

They may seem more competitive only because their governments want to dump products at a loss to capture market share, subsidize their businesses’ overhead to protect domestic employment or seek to create a monopoly over a strategic industry.

Yet when Trump threatened to level tariffs against Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Venezuela, China, or the European Union, they were not primarily aimed at propping up particular inefficient U.S. industries at all.

Instead, an exasperated Trump threatened Mexico with tariffs for three reasons.

It refused to address its cartels’ illegal multibillion-dollar export of lethal fentanyl into the United States.

The cartels buy Chinese-supplied raw fentanyl with impunity, disguise it to resemble toxic drugs, and smuggle the product across a porous border.

The result over the last decade is more dead Americans from fentanyl than the total number of all U.S. soldiers lost in the wars of the twentieth century.

Second, Mexico had stonewalled all American efforts to stop their export of millions of illegal aliens into the United States—10-12 million in the last four years alone.

Mexico adds insult to injury by raking in profits from some $63 billion in remittances sent from its former resident citizens now residing in the United States and often subsidized by American taxpayers.

Third, Mexico grows its American trade surpluses each year. The imbalance is now a mind-boggling nearly $170 billion.

Trump threatened Canada because it has so far refused to police its side of an open and increasingly dangerous border. And it has racked up a $50 billion surplus by leveling asymmetrical tariffs on lots of U.S. products.

Canada also has refused to keep its NATO promises to spend 2 percent of its GDP on defense.

Canada’s pathetic 1.37 percent expenditure is predicated on American magnanimity. The U.S. alone protects Canada under the American North American nuclear shield and subsidizes NATO deadbeats like Canada by funding some 16 percent of the budget of the 32-nation alliance, as well as policing the international seas.

As for Venezuela and Colombia, both communist nations have deliberately emptied their prisons to send hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into the U.S.—many of them violent felons. They do so either out of crass self-interest, hatred, or a strategic desire to weaken America.

China is a special case.

Its entire 20th-century ascendance was based on stealing U.S. technology, dumping its products on the U.S. market below the cost of production to capture market share, and forcing American corporations to relocate, offshore, and outsource—leaving our industrial hinterland a “rustbelt.”

The European Union runs a gargantuan half-trillion-dollar surplus with the U.S.

How?

Because for nearly the last 80 years, the U.S. has subsidized its defense during the Cold War and afterwards.

Europe acts as if it is recovering from World War II, so it can hit up a supposedly limitlessly rich American patron with asymmetrical tariffs.

Consider the various Trump “tariffs” leveled by an exasperated, and now $36 trillion-indebted, America.

Almost none of them meet the traditional definitions of an industry-protecting tariff.

Instead, they are the last-gasp tools of American leverage used only when decades of bipartisan diplomacy, summits, entreaties, and empty threats have all failed.

So, Trump is not a mercantilist.

Instead, he is trying to stop the multimillion-person influx of foreign criminals, the crashing of the border by millions of illegal aliens, the cartels’ export of American-killing drugs, the violation of past trade agreements, and allies from using America to subsidize their own defense.

The Trump tariffs are the last, desperate effort to reestablish global reciprocity and keep America safe.

And our “shocked” friends, allies, and enemies privately have known that all too well.

Simply put, it’s called “fair & balanced” trade as opposed to unbridled capitalism.

Amen to that!

KOMMONSENTSJANE – Making Sense of the Debt Clock!

04/05/2025

The Democrats aren’t living in the real world and have stolen/hid money into oblivion. We can’t continue electing them into office because sooner than later “you have to pay the piper.”

That is the point we are in – it is called REALITY. We must buckle up and let President Trump work through this. As usual, the naysayers are working like hell against him – which is nothing new.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – THE COUNTRY’S DEBT CLOCK.

Posted on May 10, 2019 by kommonsentsjane

Watching the country’s debt clock is something to study.  As of this moment the national debt is $22,278,037,728,305 and running constantly.  The interest on this money is ticking constantly and when I looked it clocked out at $360,109,119,362.

The U.S. Debt Clock website has a graphic of the U.S. debt that updates in real time. It will make your head swim. Click here to be amazed… or disgusted.

Do we ever hear any of the people in Congress talk about how to stop this living above our means and trying to pay the debt off?

Consumer debt continues to climb and break records every month. But the pace of borrowing slowed in March, a possible red flag for the US economy.

KOMMONSENTSJANE – ‘Here’s Where It Really Gets Sick’: Sheldon Whitehouse Loses It Over Budget Resolution In Hearing.

04/05/2025

How sickening is this? The Democrats “cooked” the books, DOGE used the tools of trade to “smoke” out the varmints and here they go again trying, again, to convince the American taxpayer after they stole/hid the money. The nerve of this person!

Instead, he should be trying to help DOGE; but, he is playing scientist to try to make the Republicans look bad while the market is trying to adjust for what they do best – rein in the market.

Google is working against this blogger with all of their might. Would the AI COPILOT stop interfering and do his job which is to assist the blogger?
