Comey was part of the Obama/Biden weaponization of our government from the top to the bottom, the debt rose into the trillions with wasteful spending, and DOGE proved both. Can DOGE testify?
It’s early yet in the James Comey case, but the former FBI director got a quick win on a procedural issue that reinforces the presiding judge’s refusal to allow needless delay in the criminal case against the Donald Trump critic brought by a Trump-installed prosecutor.
That reinforcement came from U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff, who rejected the Justice Department’s motion for a protective order that would’ve limited Comey’s access to discovery. The judge wrote that the Trump DOJ’s proposal “would unnecessarily hinder and delay Defendant’s ability to adequately prepare for trial.”
In a two-page order explaining his decision Monday, Nachmanoff, a Biden appointee sitting in the Eastern District of Virginia, noted that prior high-profile false statement cases didn’t have the sort of limitations the government proposed here. The judge added that the DOJ proposal didn’t sufficiently detail the information purportedly needing protection, thus making the request overbroad.
Though the decision on this one discrete issue doesn’t dictate how the case will end (heftier pretrial motions to dismiss are due later this month), its on-task tone is in keeping with the one Nachmanoff set at Comey’s arraignment last week, where the former lawman pleaded not guilty to the two-count indictment secured by former Trump personal lawyer Lindsey Halligan, over the objection of career prosecutors: one count for allegedly lying to Congress and another for allegedly obstructing Congress. At the arraignment, Nachmanoff approved a swift litigation schedule featuring a Jan. 5 trial date, which the judge said he had been prepared to set even sooner had the defense requested a December start date.
So whatever Halligan’s plan for the case is — to the extent she has one, not having prosecuted a case before — delay shouldn’t be a part of it. Just before Comey’s arraignment, she brought in two DOJ lawyers from North Carolina who have prosecuted cases before. She similarly secured an indictment last week against New York Attorney General Letitia James, whose prosecution Trump also called for like he did Comey’s. James is due to appear in court Oct. 24.
.Humans do not enjoy being told that God will judge every person, and one day we will meet him face to face and give an account of our lives. This is not an idea created by Bible teachers to scare people; it’s a truth relayed from what God has promised in his word.
There are many strange opinions about who God is, what he wants and our responsibilities as his followers, but the bottom line to lenient interpretations can be explained. Humans are crafty creatures who are always looking to receive something for nothing. Our ability and desire to live in denial intentionally prevent us from listening and obeying God’s will.
It’s difficult enough to live in this world without being deceived, but what about when we adopt deception as an excuse to avoid conviction? Changing and transforming are not exciting words to our flesh.
The Bible describes two roads to eternity — one is massive and is the way of disobedience, sin and destruction, while the other is extremely narrow and associated with sacrifice, holiness and a relationship with God.
It’s true the Lord is compassionate, but he also knows the minds and hearts of every person. He cannot and will not compromise, make special deals or concessions. He is merciful, but he is also the only perfect, righteous judge who will always stay true to his word.
Deuteronomy 10:17 states, “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.”
It’s not a secret that it’s easier to teach what is comfortable than to talk about secret sin. Christians will clap and shout when someone is talking about blessings and heaven, but will become fidgety when the subject turns to the dangers of willful sin.
I’m sure that many of you are sensing the end is near, and there are things that we need to do before Jesus returns or we pass away. Instead of wondering about signs and prophecies that must be fulfilled, what about focusing on what we need to do within our minds and conscience? This is the hour to look in the mirror and examine the deepest part of our being.
We can no longer just brush our dirt under the carpet and expect to get away with hidden rotten attitudes such as unforgiveness, prejudice, perversion, resentment, carnal character traits, a lack of interest in prayer, Bible study and worship, along with the absence of love and concern for the lost. The bride of Christ will “not” have these stains on their wedding gowns. Read Ephesians 5:27.
A while back, I had an interesting conversation with an older gentleman who had attended church since he was a child. He explained that his parents were cold, self-centered and uncaring, and this had made him bitter and self-centered. He boldly declared he was what he was, and no one could change him.
The conversation was somewhat pleasant as long as I kept feeling sorry for him, as he kept repeating that if anyone did not like it, he did not care. I asked if this also included God, because he is listening. He responded that God understands. I came back with yes, I’m afraid he does.
His life had been filled with a quiet rebellion and resentment, carefully disguised as someone trapped in a generational curse. I knew that mindlessly agreeing with him would encourage him to justify his deception, so I prayed and shared God’s truth about how being born again transforms us into a new creation so that we can break free from sin’s bondage. We choose how much of God we want and how much we desire to be like him. Of course, this made him upset and angry.
When God confronts us, are we defensive like this?
To change is very hard, but it’s my hope and prayer that all of us, including myself, would not reject sanctification, but would receive God’s gracious conviction and make sure our hearts are pure. It’s with humility and reverential fear that I write these words.
God is saying to repent of all hidden wickedness, carnality, dark attitudes and rebellion, as denial is intentional disobedience.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a person sows, that shall he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to God’s Spirit shall of his Spirit reap life everlasting,” Galatians 6:7-8.
This is a wonderful article and it fits so many of us folks. As I was reading this, Obama was complaining about President Trump sending troops to Chicago. I didn’t get the jest except he (Obama) was on TV while our President was in the Middle East signing a peace deal between Hamas/Israel which is a monumental deal.
I think his complaining was just envy about the peace deal and he had to grab some “look at me” time.
Obama has to understand that he had 12 years during his time as president and as a senator to fix Chicago and didn’t even try. We have been writing about the murders in Chicago during those years and still are. The articles always came across as a “ho-hum” event. Why was that? The people in Chicago deserve to be able to enjoy their city and walk the streets without being shot.
What if, for one week, you refused to complain? Not just out loud, but even in your own head. No “it’s too hot,” “I’m so tired” or “why is everyone driving so slow?”
Imagine the energy you’d free up if you stopped feeding every irritation that crosses your path.
Complaining feels harmless, but it’s one of the biggest invisible drains on our wellness. Each time we voice discontent, we reinforce it neurologically. The brain strengthens the very pathway we’re trying to escape. Over time, we don’t just have complaints — we become complainers. It’s a mental loop that keeps us stuck in stress mode.
Now picture the opposite. What if you used those same words to notice instead of to judge? “It’s hot, so I’ll drink more water.” “Traffic’s slow, maybe this is a chance to breathe.” “Work is hard today, but I’m capable.”
The events don’t change — your nervous system does. You stop telling your body it’s in danger, and it starts to relax. That alone can lower blood pressure, reduce muscle tension and improve sleep.
The challenge is deceptively simple: seven days, zero complaints. You’ll catch yourself often. That’s the point. Each time you do, pause and reframe.
Replace “I hate this weather” with “This makes me grateful for shade.” Replace “I’m exhausted” with “I need a break — and I’m allowed to take one.”
You’ll begin to notice how often the brain hunts for negativity just to have something to chew on.
By day three, most people start to feel lighter. By day five, conversations shift — fewer gripes, more gratitude. By day seven, you’ll realize how much calmer you feel even when nothing around you has changed.
The real detox isn’t always food or supplements. Sometimes, it’s mental noise.
Try this experiment with your family, coworkers or gym buddies. Post a sign on the fridge or set a reminder on your phone: “No complaints today.”
Keep a small notebook and tally each time you slip — not to judge yourself, but to notice patterns. Morning rush hour? Evening fatigue? Certain people? Awareness is where the shift begins.
Wellness isn’t just movement and nutrition — it’s energy management. And nothing protects your energy faster than mastering your mindset. When you stop narrating life as a constant battle, your body finally believes it’s safe enough to heal, focus and grow stronger.
She turned New York’s legal system into her personal political weapon. She also used her personal vendetta to get elected by using President Trump’s name in vane.
It is sad that this person let her hate take over her life.

Letitia James spent years going after Donald Trump with everything she had.
She turned New York’s legal system into her personal political weapon.
And a Fox News host revealed how Letitia James made one big mistake that will cost her big time.
James faces federal charges for mortgage fraud in Virginia
New York Attorney General Letitia James built her entire career on one promise – getting Donald Trump.
She campaigned openly on prosecuting the former President before she even knew what crimes she’d accuse him of.
James spent years crafting bogus legal theories to go after Trump’s business empire.
Now federal prosecutors have brought charges against James herself for the same type of conduct she prosecuted Trump for.¹
The charges stem from James allegedly falsifying mortgage documents to secure better loan rates on a Norfolk, Virginia property she purchased in 2020.
According to prosecutors, James listed her Virginia property as her secondary residence to qualify for lower mortgage rates – but then rented the property to a family of three, making it an investment property.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency referred James to the Justice Department in April after Director William Pulte alleged she had falsified records on multiple properties.
Pulte accused James of misrepresenting her residency status on both Virginia and Brooklyn properties to get favorable loan terms.
Fox News legal expert explains how James trapped herself with her own standards
Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett appeared on “Hannity” to break down why James has no way out of these charges.
The reason comes down to the legal standards James herself established when prosecuting Trump.
“It is not a defense if the charges are justified, as I think they may be. She’ll also claim, of course, ‘Oh, it’s a big misunderstanding, paperwork snafu, somebody else is to blame.’ But under her own stated standard in the Trump case, she declared that is never an excuse. So she’s hoisted on her own petard, as Shakespeare would say in Hamlet,” Jarrett told Sean Hannity.²
Jarrett explained how James personally signed the documents that now incriminate her.
“It’s a pretty serious case against her, Sean. You cannot claim an occupied residence, get a lower mortgage rate, and then rent it out. You’re cheating the lender by lying, and James actually incriminated herself,” Jarrett said.²
The contradiction in James’s own documents creates an impossible situation for her defense team.
According to prosecutors, she claimed the property was her secondary residence to get better mortgage terms, but then immediately rented it out to a family of three.
That would make it an investment property requiring different, more expensive financing terms.
Trump’s legal strategy comes full circle on James
The timing of James’s indictment couldn’t be more perfect from Trump’s perspective.
James spent years arguing that intent doesn’t matter in fraud cases and that paperwork mistakes are never acceptable excuses.
She used these exact arguments to go after Trump’s business practices in a case that ultimately collapsed.
“Well, it can’t be both. That’s illegal. Predictably, today she just whined that the law is being weaponized against her. Spare me the moral outrage. It was phony. She was the one who campaigned on the promise to get Trump, then conjured up that ludicrous case only to get slapped down by the appellate court in an epic embarrassment,” Jarrett explained.³
The appellate court didn’t just reject James’s case against Trump – they overturned a nearly $500 million penalty in August, calling it “excessive” and a violation of the Eighth Amendment.
James built her legal theories on the idea that anyone who provides false information to secure better financial terms is guilty of fraud, regardless of intent.
Now she’s facing those same theories applied to her own conduct.
Interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, appointed by Trump just weeks ago, is leading the prosecution against James.
Halligan took over after Erik Siebert reportedly stepped down when he refused pressure to file charges against political figures.
Look what James’s own legal standard means for her defense
Here’s what makes this situation so devastating for James.
In her Trump prosecution, she argued that claiming ignorance or blaming subordinates was never a valid defense for providing false information on financial documents.
James repeatedly stated that the buck stops with whoever signs the documents, regardless of their intent or knowledge.
Those documents with James’s signature now form the backbone of the federal case against her.
Her mortgage documents claim the Virginia property as her secondary residence.
Her rental to a family of three shows it was actually used as an investment property.
But her loan application got the favorable terms reserved for secondary residences – not the higher rates required for investment properties.
Jarrett noted that James will likely follow the same playbook as other indicted Democrat officials like James Comey.
“I think he or she’s going to do exactly what James Comey is doing, claim selective, vindictive prosecution, try to get the case dismissed, avoid trial entirely. But, you know, under the law the burden shifts to her to prove by clear evidence that the case has an unjustifiable motive,” Jarrett said.⁴
The problem for James is that the evidence comes from her own hand.
She personally executed the documents that create the contradiction at the heart of the fraud charges.
James has already started claiming the prosecution is politically motivated, despite building her career on politically motivated prosecutions.
Her own legal standards suggest that won’t matter.
She established the precedent that providing false information on financial documents is fraud, period.
The woman who weaponized New York’s legal system against Trump now faces the same weapon pointed directly at her.
