I would be very cautious opening any gifts from them. I still feel very uneasy being too nice to them. They can turn against you as quick as they turned for you.
What needs to be done before the cease-fire is finalized, why not open up the narrow areas and make it more accommodating for its job. Also, readjust the dangers in the whole area while the military is available – get rid of the mines, etc. This will make it safer
