Serious Humor.

As a taxpayer in the U.S. I am not a happy camper. In fact, Europe is not speaking “German” today because of our dead and wounded soldiers and helping to win WWII!

The U.S. pays around $3.5 billion annually to NATO.

That is nothing to sneeze at – is it?

The United States contributes approximately 16% of NATO’s defense budget, which is around $3.5 billion annually. This contribution is based on the U.S. spending on defense, which is estimated at $980 billion in 2025,

Can we get a refund – that would help pay down our debt?

And they turned down the President’s help request? Did someone say they only wanted them to answer the phone?

No offense to the citizens of the world by this humor. It just makes me sad. My Mother always taught us, “Walk softly and carry a big stick.” I will have to change that saying to, Walk Softly on This Heart of Mine.
