Susan Rice Threatens Corporate America With an Accountability Agenda
Susan Rice sat down on a podcast in February and said the quiet part loud.
Every corporation, law firm, university, and media company that worked with President Trump is now on a list.
“It is not going to end well for them,” Rice promised.
She called it an “accountability agenda.”
Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., had one word for it.
“What Ms. Rice is talking about is payback,” Kennedy said — no hedging, no diplomatic cushion, no both-sidesing it into something polite.
Kennedy went further, reading Rice’s exact words into the record: “When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media, it’s not going to end well for them.”
Rice isn’t some fringe activist shouting on a street corner. She ran Obama’s National Security Council and Biden’s Domestic Policy Council. Now, she sits on Netflix’s board of directors — which is why Trump called on Netflix to fire her immediately or “pay the consequences.”
This is the Democrat establishment, in plain language, threatening American companies for the crime of following the law under a Republican president.

This isn’t new.
What Susan Rice just described out loud, the Obama machine did in secret for over a decade.
Starting in 2010, the IRS began systematically targeting Tea Party organizations — hundreds of conservative nonprofits — holding their applications in a black hole while liberal groups sailed through.
The Obama White House had been loudly denouncing conservative groups as threats to democracy.
IRS official Lois Lerner wrote to colleagues that Tea Party applications were “very dangerous.”
A 2013 study concluded the targeting cost Mitt Romney between five million and eight and a half million votes in 2012 – the year Obama won by five million.
Democrats didn’t just threaten corporate America back then – they quietly used the IRS to kneecap the political opposition during a presidential election.
Rice is now promising to do it openly, to a broader list of targets, when they come back to power.
Kennedy called out the same playbook when Merrick Garland launched criminal probes against Trump while he was running for president.
“They have unleashed spirits they cannot control,” he said. And he was right.
Schiff and Senate Democrats Are Already Drawing Up the Target List
Rice isn’t operating alone.
According to Axios, Sens. Adam Schiff, Sheldon Whitehouse, and Richard Blumenthal — all members of the Senate Judiciary Committee — are already in early planning sessions mapping out subpoena campaigns against companies that worked with the Trump administration.
Schiff has already filed Freedom of Information Act requests on a dozen issues as a dry run.
On the House side, Rep. Pramila Jayapal was even more direct about the strategy: “I don’t think you can do like 100 but I think you can do three and start with that.”
Pick three companies. Make an example of them. Watch the rest fall in line.
That is not an oversight agenda. That is a protection racket.

Rice Told Corporate America to Start Preserving Their Documents
Rice’s threat works whether Democrats win in November or not — the warning itself is enough to move corporate behavior.
Companies already saw what happened to those who resisted Obama-era pressure.
These corporations are already watching the Left organize protests, boycotts, and store takeovers against businesses that aligned with Trump’s agenda.
Rice explicitly told corporate America to “preserve their documents” – the language of someone signaling that investigations are coming.
And she told companies they need to “preserve their documents” and “be ready for subpoenas” — and she said it on a podcast, in public, without apology.
Kennedy sees it for exactly what it is.
“What Ms. Rice seems to be saying is that it’s okay in America today to use the law to prosecute and harass your political enemies,” he said.
Rice doesn’t need to win in November for this to work.
Every corporate lawyer in America heard “preserve your documents” and started making calls.
