The following is a characterization of my life and the black folks who were instrumental in my life. For many years we employed Polly, who was the keeper of our home cleaning and the other person was Edgar who maintained our lawn. My husband and I both worked 12 hour days at a large company. In addition to them we also employed a Greek woman name Aunt Maggi, who was the caretaker of our son. The cooperation of those three people was such a pleasure that we never worried when we were working.

Our and their success depended on them. Their cooperation made it so successful even to the extent when we purchased a new car, Edgar, always was asked if he wanted to purchase our car at trade in price. If we replaced anything we asked if any one of them wanted it. We treated them like family.

What a wonderful group we had and thank God for bringing them to this place in our life.
