Dear Joyce M,

As we step into 2026, I find myself doing what I have always believed is most important at moments like this—pausing to pray.

This year carries special weight. America turns 250, a milestone that invites both gratitude and humility. For all our imperfections, we have been blessed beyond measure as a nation. And yet, anniversaries are not just about celebrating where we’ve been—they are about deciding who we will be.

My prayer for 2026 is simple, but earnest.

I pray that we would return to wisdom over noise, conviction over convenience, and faith over fear. I pray that leaders would govern with humility, families would be strengthened, and that personal responsibility would once again be recognized as a pillar of a healthy society.

I also pray for people like you.

Those who care enough to stay engaged. Those who believe America’s best days are still ahead of us when we anchor ourselves in enduring truths. Those who quietly, faithfully support work that seeks to bring clarity, not chaos, into the public square.

I also ask for your prayers for a project that is especially close to my heart.

Right now, the American Cornerstone Institute is producing a new children’s film—one designed to communicate timeless truths in a way young hearts and minds can understand. In a culture that too often confuses and misleads, our children need stories that point them toward truth, courage, and hope.

Would you join me in praying that this project moves forward according to God’s will? That the right doors would open, the necessary resources would be provided, and that this film would ultimately reach children who need a clear and life-giving foundation.

At the American Cornerstone Institute, that has been our commitment from the beginning—to elevate thoughtful, principled voices rooted in faith, freedom, and responsibility. As this historic year unfolds, I’m deeply grateful to know we are not standing alone.

Thank you for being part of this work, and for the many ways—seen and unseen—you strengthen it. As we look ahead to all that 2026 holds, please know that you are in my prayers.
