In a fiery exchange that lit up “The Faulkner Focus” on Thursday, Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy held nothing back, launching a scathing critique of former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey.

Kennedy’s remarks came amidst a burgeoning criminal probe into the duo’s involvement in the infamous Russia collusion investigation, a probe reportedly initiated by a referral from former CIA Director John Ratcliffe to the FBI for making false statements to Congress.Top 10 Wealth Management Firms in The United States

Senator Kennedy, known for his sharp wit and direct delivery, blasted Brennan and Comey as “not ethical people” and “especially bad,” asserting that their actions significantly fueled the nation’s current tense political climate.

“We have a number of people in America that are crazy,” Kennedy told host Harris Faulkner, lamenting the hyper-partisan atmosphere where disagreement is often equated with moral failing. “I really regret we live in a climate like we live in, but I can tell you two people who contributed to that climate, you have already mentioned their names, James Comey and John Brennan.”

The senator’s condemnation extended beyond their professional conduct, delving into their character. “Neither one of them, in my opinion, should attempt more than six of the ten commandments. They are not very nice people, they are not ethical people,” Kennedy declared, adding, “if you talk to people who have worked with them closely, those people will tell you that they are about as popular as male pattern baldness.

Further excoriating their perceived competence, Kennedy quipped, “I would hire the guy who salts the fries at McDonald’s before I would hire them.” He accused them of harboring an inflated sense of self-importance, believing themselves “smarter and more virtuous than the rest of us,” and acting on their political biases.

As a prime example, Kennedy cited Brennan’s involvement in dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story as “Russian disinformation,” a claim made in an October 2020 letter signed by dozens of former intelligence officials.

Brennan, for his part, publicly denied wrongdoing on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” just a day prior, asserting the CIA “stayed true” and did not attempt to influence the 2016 election. However, Kennedy remained unconvinced.

In a closing statement, Senator Kennedy delivered a final, stinging blow, paraphrasing a classic Lyndon Johnson line: “They are like so many in Washington, Harris, they’re so arrogant… That’s the way Mr. Comey and Mr. Brennan are. Those two have done more to destroy the American people’s confidence in the FBI and national intelligence than any two people I can think of.”
