There is no place in politics in the U.S. for people who are working against our country/the President. This must be cleared immediately. This also goes for the Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz. When politicians are elected they pledge to the Constitution of the U.S.
Transparency must show their dedication to the Constitution. The people of those states must follow up to be sure that is happening. We don’t want other fake leaders like the Democrats/Biden and money being hidden/stolen. When DOGE finishes with the Federal government – it needs to perform the same services to all of the states to be consistent?

Anti-Trump Resistance Leader Allegedly Funded by CCP Operative

The intricate web of financial backing behind anti-Trump political movements is drawing renewed and serious scrutiny, especially in the case of Boston’s Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu. Investigations have revealed that Wu received substantial financial contributions, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, from individuals with alarming ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Among the most concerning figures is Gary Yu, a well-connected Boston businessman, who has been directly identified as an official operating under the auspices of a Chinese intelligence agency.
Gary Yu, founder of Boston International Media Consulting, has established a strong presence in the Chinese-American community in Massachusetts, positioning himself as a community leader. However, what has triggered alarm bells is his reported affiliation with the Chinese regime’s United Front Work Department (UFWD), a powerful and secretive arm of the CCP tasked with influencing foreign societies, co-opting ethnic Chinese communities abroad, and advancing Beijing’s geopolitical goals.
According to multiple reports from both CCP state media and internal Chinese government communications, Yu has been actively involved in recruiting individuals in the United States to serve Chinese interests.
These sources, cited by investigations from The Daily Caller and supplemented by conservative news outlets including Fox News and the New York Post, suggest Yu’s activities go far beyond cultural outreach and enter the realm of covert political influence operations.
Prominent China expert Gordon Chang has been outspoken about the implications of these revelations. In an interview, Chang emphasized the sophisticated tactics employed by the UFWD, warning that “there is no ethnic Chinese official in America who is not targeted” by the CCP. He stressed the urgency for American law enforcement to investigate Yu’s activities and any potential influence he may have exerted over American politicians, including Mayor Wu.
Chang’s concerns are grounded in a broader context: the CCP’s long-standing strategy of influencing Western democracies through soft power, business ties, and political donations masked through intermediaries. The UFWD’s operations are not casual; they are a core part of Beijing’s efforts to weaken foreign resistance to Chinese expansionism and ideology.
Mayor Wu, who rose to prominence within the Democratic Party for her progressive policies and vocal opposition to the Trump administration’s initiatives, has now found herself entangled in what critics are calling a growing national security concern. Wu’s rapid political ascent, including her historic election as Boston’s first Asian-American mayor in 2021, had been celebrated nationwide. However, revelations about her campaign’s financial backers have cast a shadow over her political brand, with critics questioning whether foreign influence could have played a role in shaping her agenda.
Further fueling these concerns, Spreely News reported that Gary Yu had frequent and documented meetings with senior CCP intelligence figures, according to Chinese state media announcements. Yu also held leadership positions in multiple Chinese-American civic associations, some of which have been flagged by intelligence experts as fronts for United Front operations. These associations often serve dual purposes: fostering cultural ties while quietly promoting pro-Beijing narratives within local communities.
On social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), outrage over the funding scandal has been swift and fierce. One user demanded a full federal investigation into Wu, warning that “foreign influence in American elections cannot be tolerated.” Another posted bluntly, “CCP corruption to the core,” capturing a sentiment widely echoed in conservative and independent circles online.
The controversy has gained significant traction among conservative media outlets, with Fox News providing continuous coverage and the New York Post publishing editorials warning about the broader dangers of unchecked foreign influence in American politics. Calls for transparency and a thorough investigation are growing louder, especially given the potential implications for national security and the integrity of U.S. electoral systems.
Notably, the timing of these revelations coincides with heightened national concern about China’s aggressive behavior on the world stage. From espionage activities, including the infamous Chinese spy balloon incident over the U.S. in early 2023, to growing military tensions in the South China Sea and increasing cybersecurity threats, American anxiety about China’s covert operations is at an all-time high.
The potential infiltration of American political processes by agents of a hostile foreign power is now not just a theoretical concern — it is a pressing reality. The fact that a major city’s mayor could be linked, even indirectly, to individuals associated with Chinese intelligence efforts demands an immediate and comprehensive investigation by federal authorities.
While Mayor Wu has not been formally accused of wrongdoing, the optics of the situation are damaging. Critics argue that even the appearance of impropriety undermines public trust and necessitates full disclosure of all campaign donations, affiliations, and meetings involving individuals connected to foreign entities.
As scrutiny intensifies, pressure is mounting on both the Boston City Council and Massachusetts state officials to take action. Some lawmakers are already calling for hearings to determine the extent of foreign influence in local and state politics. Meanwhile, watchdog organizations focused on election integrity and national security have begun independent investigations into political contributions and organizational affiliations.
The broader debate also reflects deep divisions in American politics about the appropriate response to foreign interference. Conservatives have long argued for stricter controls and transparency requirements regarding political donations from foreign sources. This latest scandal is likely to reinvigorate those calls and could lead to new legislative initiatives aimed at curbing foreign influence at all levels of government.
In the meantime, the public remains wary and demands answers. As the story unfolds, the case of Mayor Michelle Wu and Gary Yu serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerabilities within the U.S. political system — and the relentless efforts of the Chinese Communist Party to exploit them.
The situation underscores the critical importance of vigilance, transparency, and national unity in defending American democracy from external threats. The ultimate impact of these revelations remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the era of ignoring foreign influence in domestic politics is over.
