What are black jobs – any job that a person was qualified to fill!
When anyone refers to black jobs it means any job a person was qualified to fill. During earlier days some of the jobs were referred to as domesticated jobs – yard work/house work/nannies/hospitals/refineries/hospitality facilities, and many more.
My husband and I always had outside help who were black people that worked in the house and the yard. They were always treated like family. Whenever we bought a new car – they were first in line to buy it at the trade in value. The yard man’s name was Edgar and his wife worked at the hospital in the cafeteria. Polly was our house person who took care of the house cleaning. My husband and I both worked in manufacturing approximately twelve hours a day/five days a week.
We heard many stories from them on how his neighbors having their morning coffee on the front porch and resented them having full time jobs and would call him out and make dispersions. The best story was when he purchased our green cadillac and paid the banker who conducted the sale for us on a Friday. Sunday morning the door bell rang and when I opened the door it was Edgar and his wife dressed to go to church. He was dressed in a business suit and tie and she had her Sunday beautiful dress/hat/fur stole to thank us for their “new” green cadillac. When they drove off – my comment was – now that is success. But the funny part of the bank transaction was the bank asked for his money and he had the red bandana and placed it on the bankers desk. When it was opened it had nothing but $20 bills folded square. Then Edgar said pointing at the banker – it was in his bank account..
We have had black people who could not read or write that could only sign their name with an “X” who worked in the maintenance of our buildings and in the field in construction.
We could never have been effective without their help.
All four of us realized – that we were helping each other travel the road to success.
Our schools at that time were segregated for blacks and our schools include white and Hispanic. We always attended the black high school games to watch their bands march and the music they played when our teams were playing out of town..
I was disappointed in Michelle referencing WHAT ARE ‘BLACK JOBS’? She lived in Chicago and didn’t know what black jobs were? That is hard to believe. She and her husband give the impression that they are always trying to stir the black pot. Why is that? She and her husband have been given so much and never seem thankful for what they do have. They act like they are the only two people who came though this earth and had to struggle to succeed.
Obama has always hated white people from what we read. They have to realize the black population is approximately 13% and they always give the impression that no matter how much they have succeeded they still haven’t received their share.
They seem very selfish and hateful. They have worked very hard to divide this country, especially during his time in office and has weaponized the government against the people which was his intension. He is trying to destroy the U.S.
The educational system bothers me the most. That is – what the left has done to our children in all of the time they have wasted and not giving them the proper three R’s and pushing them through and not having the skills necessary to read or write. Most of my family were school teachers so we know they didn’t have a choice but give to the children what they were told which was nothing – NADA. It was all planned for them to be slaves in their socialist world. .
We must work hard to elect a Republican candidate who has the Constitution in tow and not the left Democrats turned Marxists who only want the people to be slaves.
That is what Obama is working toward.
P.S. Can you envision ever seeing Michelle cleaning house for white people.
