Kamala Harris has once again demonstrated her unwavering determination to increase government influence over the healthcare sector.
At a campaign event in 2019, the former Senator made a striking announcement that shocked many: if pharmaceutical companies resisted reducing their prices, she would “seize their patents” and enable government intervention.
This declaration not only contradicts the principles of open competition but also serves as a sobering indication of Harris’s willingness to push boundaries in her pursuit of authority.
When an audience member asked if such a move was even possible, Harris confidently replied, “Yes, we can do that!” She further challenged the crowd, stating, “The question is: ‘Do you have the will to do it’? I have the will to do it.”
