KOMMONSENTSJANE – Why is it that Democrats can challenge an election; but, when Republicans do they are undermining democracy?

Why do we care – what they think??

A good example is the 2020 election. Now that this is behind us – all of the roaches, including the sick one, will be coming out of the wood work telling us, including Harris, that we need paper ballots.

Democrats are currently on a sugar high after replacing Joe Biden with Vice President Kamala Harris.

But they will come back down to Earth because she is a deeply flawed candidate.

And Harris made one comment about the 2020 election that came back to bite her.

Democrats on election fraud

Democrats question an election every time they do not win.

In 2000, they blamed Al Gore’s loss on hanging chads in Florida.

In 2004, they blamed John Kerry’s loss on Diebold voting machines in Ohio.

Left-wing mouthpiece Keith Olbermann suggested that the election was fraudulent for weeks.

In 2016, they blamed Hillary Clinton’s loss on Russian collusion.

In the 2018 Midterms, they blamed Stacey Abrams’ and Andrew Gillum’s gubernatorial losses on voter suppression.

For years, Abrams and other Democrats claimed that she was the duly elected Governor of Georgia.

Yet Democrats have tried to tar and feather Donald Trump or any other Republican who had questions about the last Presidential election.

Ironically, Democrats were the ones raising the alarm about election integrity going into the 2020 cycle.

Kamala Harris questioned election integrity

In fact, early in the primary process, Kamala Harris – before her campaign imploded – brought up concerns about voting machines with no paper ballots.

Harris wrote on Twitter, “Paper ballots are the smartest, safest way to ensure your vote is secure against attacks by foreign actors. Russia can’t hack a piece of paper like they can a computer. We introduced the Secure Elections Act to ensure our elections are safeguarded. We must be ready.”

Harris was not the only Democrat to question voting machines.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) made similar statements.

Klobuchar signed onto a letter of Democrat Senators that read, “The integrity of our elections remains under serious threat. Our nation’s intelligence agencies continue to raise the alarm that foreign adversaries are actively trying to undermine our system of democracy and will target the 2020 elections as they did the 2016 and 2018 elections. . .The integrity of our elections is directly tied to the machines we vote on – the products that you make. Despite shouldering such a massive responsibility, there has been a lack of meaningful innovation in the election vendor industry, and our democracy is paying the price.”

HBO late-night comedian John Oliver did an entire show about voting machine issues.

The far-left host even agreed with Donald Trump on the issue.

In addition to concerns over voting machines, prominent Democrats like former President Jimmy Carter and former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz both said that universal mail-in voting was a mistake and it was ripe for fraud.

Then, the 2020 election happened.

All of a sudden, these issues became verboten to discuss.

Any question that the election was not entirely on the level instantly branded a person an election denier, ergo, a MAGA insurrectionist.

Only Democrats are allowed to question elections, apparently.

When they do it, they are defending “our democracy.”

When Republicans do it, they are undermining “our democracy.”

This is one of many contradictions that Harris will have to contend with as voters take a second look at her.
