Upon Joe Biden’s inauguration, taxpayers braced themselves for potentially harmful fiscal policies.

Their concerns were not unfounded as the seasoned politician was expected to authorize massive spending bills, which could lead to wastage of tax dollars without achieving substantial results. Indeed, their fears appear to have been realized as Biden’s administration has reportedly expended trillions of dollars over the last few years.

The question arises – what tangible benefits have we gained from this spending? The answer appears to be a host of issues including an unsecured border, escalating crime rates, skyrocketing inflation and ongoing wars overseas.

The Washington Times reported the abysmal failure of the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment program intended to connect rural communities with internet services…

Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr stated, “There hasn’t been a single shovel’s worth of dirt that has even been turned towards connecting people.”

Biden’s administration allocated $42 billion towards providing high-speed Internet access in rural regions; areas typically overlooked by companies due to financial considerations. Despite this enormous investment, not a single household has benefitted from this initiative. Astonishingly, the FCC admitted that not a “single shovel’s worth of dirt” has been moved for this project.

One can’t help but notice that these rural areas are predominantly conservative and might have significantly benefited from such an initiative. Considering Biden’s claims of being a president for all Americans, it’s surprising that he hasn’t prioritized the needs of these regions, which are often Republican strongholds.

Elon Musk, owner of Starlink – a company providing high-speed satellite Internet globally, has condemned Biden’s failure as a gross misuse of taxpayers’ dollars. He highlighted that for $42 billion, the government could have supplied Starlink dishes to 140 million people—far more than those residing in rural areas.
