In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that John Kerry, the former Secretary of State under the Obama administration, was found to be conducting secret meetings with Iranian officials back in March 2018. The purpose of these covert gatherings? To protect Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
These actions directly contradicted the Trump administration’s efforts to dismantle the Iranian nuclear deal that had been established during Obama’s presidency – a deal that had been widely criticized for funding terrorism in the Middle East.
It was reported that Kerry was seen dining with various officials from the Iranian regime. A photograph even captured him leaving a restaurant in Paris after one such meeting.
At around the same time, President Trump decided to withdraw from what he described as a flawed Iranian nuclear deal, recognizing its failure in addressing concerns related to Iran’s leadership.
Kerry reportedly advised Iranian officials to wait for a more favorable Democratic presidency after Trump. He knew full well that the money sent to Iran as part of Obama’s nuclear deal could potentially be used to fund terrorists.
In April 2021, an audio recording surfaced where Kerry can be heard sharing confidential information about Israel’s operations in Syria with Iran’s foreign minister – an act many consider treasonous.
The Biden administration claimed this information was public knowledge, but this was not the case.
In March 2024, House Republicans demanded Kerry reveal details of his unofficial diplomatic efforts with Iran during Trump’s tenure. They suggested potential violations of the Logan Act may have occurred.
Just this week, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) announced he has obtained new emails indicating that John Kerry obstructed multiple FBI efforts to apprehend two dangerous Iranian individuals during nuclear negotiations with Iran while serving as Secretary of State under Obama.
The emails reveal that the State Department under Kerry’s leadership intervened to prevent eight arrests, including those of suspected terrorists, in order to protect the Iran nuclear agreement.

During the Obama Administration, the US State Department prevented the FBI from arresting people connected to Iran’s illicit nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, including “known terrorists,” two Republican Senators said in a bombshell accusation.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Senators Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis) presented unclassified emails from the FBI obtained from whistleblowers showing that the State Department blocked multiple arrests in 2015 and 2016 so as not to jeopardize the Joint Plan of Action, the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.
In a letter to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the Senators wrote, “The records provided to our offices show that the Obama/Biden administration’s State Department, under the leadership of John Kerry, actively and persistently interfered with FBI operations pertaining to lawful arrests of known terrorists, members of Iranian proliferation networks, and other criminals providing material support for Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.”
They elaborated, “For example, unclassified FBI email records from August 25, 2017, detailed at least eight instances connected to the Iran deal where the ‘FBI/DOJ/USG could have moved forward with the cases but the State Department chose to block them.’ According to the records, in six of these instances, the FBI lost the opportunity to arrest the main subject. The email says that one of the lost main subjects was noted to be ‘on the Terrorism Watch List” and another “returned to Iran.’ The email further says that in another instance the State Department ‘blocked [FBI’s] plan to arrest while the subject was mid-flight and the subject was forced to leave the US immediately upon arrival.’ The email also provides that at least two targets were arrested only after ‘State lifted their block…since the new [Trump] Administration took office.’”
