Bill Barr, the former Attorney General, has made it clear that he will be casting his vote for the Republican ticket in the upcoming presidential election. He voiced his concerns about a second term for President Joe Biden, stating it would be equivalent to “national suicide“.

His comments were made during an interview on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom”, where he expressed his belief that Biden’s policies are a substantial threat to the United States.

“Well, I’ve said all along, you know, given two bad choices, I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country and in my mind that’s — I will vote the Republican ticket,” Barr said. “I will support the Republican ticket.”

He further warned of an extremely dangerous agenda being pursued by Biden which could pose a real threat to democracy. Barr also expressed his support for President Trump over Biden due to Trump’s stance on issues like deregulation, crime control and border security.

Despite recent legal troubles leading to Trump’s conviction on charges related to pre-election hush money payments in 2016, his campaign fundraising has seen a significant boost. The campaign has reportedly raised over $200 million in donations with contributions from major Republican donor Miriam Adelson who is expected to invest tens of millions into a pro-Trump SuperPAC.
