Obama Brazenly Declares: ‘Trust Every Word MSNBC Spews, They Don’t Fabricate Tales’

Is he humoring us?

How can we take him seriously?

Isn’t he the problem not the solution?

According to former President Barack Obama, the liberal mainstream media is a reliable source of information and the public should unquestioningly accept everything they report. This statement was made during his appearance on Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett’s “Smartless” podcast, where he confidently asserted that these media outlets “aren’t just going to make stuff up.”

This viewpoint, however, seems to conveniently overlook the numerous instances of misinformation and outright deception perpetrated by these same liberal media outlets in recent years. Obama’s comments seem to disregard the significant damage caused by such irresponsible reporting.

“I would argue that actually they’ve got some legitimate points in the sense that, you know, there’s a side that doesn’t recognize conservative thought or isn’t respectful to some traditional values that they care about and so forth,” said Obama, who appeared on the podcast with Joe Biden and former President Bill Clinton.

The former president appears to have conveniently forgotten about high-profile cases such as the Russian collusion hoax which was widely propagated by these same liberal media outlets for two years before being thoroughly debunked. Notably absent were any form of apology or correction from these outlets after their falsehoods were exposed.

Their questionable reporting didn’t stop there. Remember when they refused to cover Hunter Biden’s laptop story under the guise of it being “Russian disinformation”? Or their misleading statements about COVID-19 measures like “two weeks to slow the spread” or “the vaccine will prevent infections”?

It’s disconcerting that Obama chose to ignore the significant amount of dangerous misinformation spread by outlets like the New York Times and MSNBC regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Such irresponsible reporting should have resulted in serious consequences, such as the revocation of their broadcasting license.
