KOMMONSENTSJANT – MUSLIM CITY COUNCIL MEMBER REJECTS OATH OF OFFICE DURING SWEARING IN.

According to later info – she took it in private. In cities through out the U.S., the city council needs to be sure they are on top of this.

Muslim City Council Member Rejects Oath of Office During Swearing In

The Boston City Council swearing-in ceremony Monday brought some controversy after City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson, a Democrat, appeared to not recite her oath of office with the other councilors, all of whom were seen saying their oaths.

Looks like she wanted some special attention.

*****

Plain and simple – then she has not officially been placed into office. If she can’t do this which is part of the U.S. Constitution – she has to be rejected and is not qualified to assume those duties.

Papers should be filed before she is placed on the ballot so that citizens know she is not willing to follow the U.S. Constitution.

We have to stop this in its tracls in our government offices. They are running for an office followed by the Constitution and representing the people of the U.S. – not her religion.

Again, this has to be addressed by our government and clarified because at this time we have people in our Federal government who did not swear on the official book which is a hoax on WE THE PEOPLE.

If she can’t perform her duty of swearing in then she hasn’t completed the official process of running for any office.

Swearing in reads:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Today, members of Congress take the oath to uphold the Constitution en-masse in a public, group swearing-in ceremony on the opening day of a new Congress.

The ceremony consists of members raising their right hands and repeating the oath. No religious texts are used (as specified in the Constitution). Some members pose for photos individually following the official swearing-in and hold private ceremonies.

Since the 80th Congress, (1947-49) members have also been required to sign an oath.

Each new member of Congress, along with the president, vice president and Supreme Court justices, are required to take the oath of office when they are sworn in, as written in the U.S. Constitution.
