America is just so very, very lucky in these trying times, according to Nancy Pelosi.

The House speaker, contrary to most public-opinion polls, heaped praise upon President Biden and his job performance earlier this week, even calling him “just perfect.”

Mrs. Pelosi told Mr. Biden in a speech at a Democratic National Committee Christmas-season gathering that “it is an honor and, of course, a pleasure to be here at this time of challenge — and with the coronavirus, the national insecurity for families, natural disasters.”

On Sunday, Joe Biden emerged from seclusion to make succinct comments regarding the interim bill approved by Congress.

The House of Representatives passed a measure late Saturday evening that will keep the government in operation for 45 additional days, narrowly averting an impasse.

Prior to the passage of the bill, Democrats had resorted to their customary tactics.

In an attempt to adjourn the House of Representatives and leave before a temporary funding agreement could be reached, New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman activated the fire alarm in the Cannon Building, thus forcing Congress into recess.

When a person pulls a fake firm alarm – a person can be sentenced up to five (5) years in prison and fined up to $10,000 if they are charged with a first degree misdemeanor.

The Speaker needs to file against this idiot who was playing with fire!

Following a vote of 335-91, the House approved a 45-day temporary funding measure that excluded border security and allocated $6 billion in funds for Ukraine.

This bill also included provisions for disaster relief funding, which likely encouraged some Democrats to cast their votes in favor.

By an 88-9 vote, the Senate passed a stopgap measure that will temporarily avert a government shutdown for 45 days. With only three hours remaining until the end of the fiscal year, Vice President Biden quickly reminded Congress of Ukraine’s need for additional funds.

We cannot under any circumstances allow American funding for Ukraine to be interrupted,” Biden said from the Roosevelt Room on Sunday.

“We have time, not much time and there’s an overwhelming sense of urgency,” Biden said. “We’re going to get it done.”

Biden also attacked “mega Republicans” when asked if he was concerned about America’s reputation.

“Are you concerned about America’s reputation on the world stage?” a reporter asked Joe Biden.

“Based on the mega Republicans are for, yes. Based on what my administration’s doing, no,” Biden said.

After losing a battle with his teleprompter Biden froze for about 10 seconds.

“I hope this experience for the speaker has been one of a personal revelation. I’m not being facetious,” Biden said breathing heavily. “I, uh, um, anyway.”
