Sometimes you do things because you want to, sometimes because you think you should and sometimes because … well, because. I’ll leave it to you, dear ‘subscriber’, to decide my motivation for going on our idyllic hamlet’s annual garden tour last Saturday. It wasn’t exactly Kew Gardens or the New York Botanical Gardens, but local homeowners who spend every waking hour working on their garden, and every sleeping hour dreaming about what new seeds to buy. To be fair, they do have a garden to be proud of. However, I think I’ll give the kitchen garden tour on 8/13 a miss!
