“Believe: The Barack Obama Story” is an intimate portrait of the life of Barack Obama that details his early life in Hawaii and Harvard as well as his meteoric rise in politics culminating with his historic victory in the 2008 Presidential election and his inauguration. The program is hosted by Roland Martin and features exclusive interviews with Michelle Obama, President Obama, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Congressman Bobby Rush, Reverend Joseph Lowry, actor Hill Harper, and President Biden. This special has a soundtrack that includes an original song that was produced for the program by Sounds of Blackness titled “Do You Believe?” Recently, we have updated the program with a segment from President Biden’s Inauguration that exemplifies how much respect Barack Obama still has today.
