Reggie Cannon condemns fans for jeering the players when they took a knee. Doesn’t Cannon realize he is begging when he “knee’s the dirt.” That is the way slaves in King Arthur’s court bowed to their king? What king is he bowing? Did he miss this part of history?
The fans came to watch the game not watch him kneel before them which makes them uncomfortable – surely? Cannon is not their slave. People are fed up. That is why people have stopped going to the games.
He needs to think for himself instead of following an idiot who is selling him “down the river.”
They just don’t understand – I guess? They don’t want to be slaves but then they dig the dirt and bow? That’s what slaves do!
