The U.S. needs to stop being so naive for starters.  You would have thought that after WWII the world would have learned a lesson from that war about Asians and would have done more verifying instead of being so trusting.  The whole time we were building them up out of their third world status – they were stealing the world blind and still are – especially the U.S.

Example: China is like a young woman who marries a rich old man for his money – uses him as long as she can. When she tires of him and stores enough of his goodies – she plans for the kill. This is the story of the China coronavirus/WHO/PELOSI.

This is why Pelosi fits in so well with the Chinese.
