The White House Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) report that was released last week revealed that prescription drug prices have dropped by more than 11% since President Trump took office in 2016, which is far below general inflation! In fact, it broke a trend of steady increases in drug prices that took place under the Obama Administration and their policies!

“In 2018, prescription drug prices even declined in nominal terms over the calendar year for the first time since 1972.”
