Didn’t Pelosi say Congress could do two things at the same thing – walk and chew gum?

Doesn’t look like it to me.

The Democrats in the House when setting up the impeachment articles for the President decided to have  a fire sale in their preparation – it had to be done before Christmas and did not follow proper Constitutional standards – the President was not given due process – they subpoened witnesses and then with drew their subpoena  after realizing the months it would take to make that happened. The fire sale articles were sent to the Senate after a long delay.  It is now established they were not legal because they did not follow the Constitution.

Now to draw out the hearing, the House Managers in their haste are trying to  convince the Senate they need more  illegal witnesses and want the  Senate to  bring in witnesses they subpoened but with drew  –  to fan the flames and continue Trump being impeached.  They want to keep him impeached to hurt the country’s economy.

It is time for the Senate to have a show down and end this illegal charade.  The longer you keep their charade going the more fake garbage they are going to have the New York Times regurgitating to the fake news.

WASHINGTON – The Senate voted Friday to reject subpoenas for witnesses or documents in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, clearing the way for a vote on the verdict.

The largely party-line vote of 51-49 was expected. The 47 Democrats needed at least four Republicans to join them to call witnesses. Only two Republicans – Susan Collins of Maine and Mitt Romney of Utah – had announced they would support calling witnesses.
