DACA is the acronym for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program created in 2012 by the Obama administration allowing young people brought to this country illegally by their parents to get a temporary reprieve from deportation and to receive permission to work, study and obtain driver’s licenses.

The policy, an executive branch memorandum, was announced by President Barack Obama on June 15, 2012. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services began accepting applications for the program on August 15, 2012.

Federal courts in California, New York, Virginia and Washington, D.C., meanwhile have blocked Trump from ending it immediately. A federal judge in Texas has declared the program is illegal, but refused to order it halted.

DACA was initiated by Obama with an illegal executive order which was not legal since it was Congress’ responsibility.

Wouldn’t it be illegal for the Supreme Court to rule on anything that is illegal to start with?

Why can’t Prez Trump dissolve the illegal executive order?

Doesn’t make sense?
