We knew they were surveilling us during Obama’s time in office. It especially was evident during our phone calls when our calls were cut off when certain words were used. It tells us how stupid they were – thinking we didn’t know.

In November 2016, Navy Admiral Michael Rogers, commander of U.S. Cyber Command and the director of the National Security Agency discovered communications from Trump Tower were being tapped during then President-elect Trump’s transition.
Alarmed, Rogers promptly went to New York to brief the incoming president.

On that same day, the Trump transition team abruptly announced they were leaving Trump Tower and moving their operations to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Two days later, the Washington Post reported that James Clapper and Defense Secretary Ash Carter had recommended the removal of Mike Rogers from his NSA position. That didn’t happen, but Rogers announced his retirement on January 5, 2018…after heading the National Security Agency for nearly four years.
The Obama administration used “Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act” to weaponize the NSA against American citizens.
For more than four years before the election of Donald Trump, there was an illegal spying operation going on by FBI [private] contractors — four of them — to steal personal information, electronic information about Americans and to use it against the Republican Party.
Section 702 allows the attorney general and director of national intelligence to fast-track the surveillance of foreign nationals. It has thwarted terror attacks when used properly.
However, the program enters an ethical gray area when given a green light to search Americans’ data without having to obtain a warrant.
