Tell Your U.S. Sen. to Oppose Future “DACA-for-Border Funding” Deals!

On Thursday, the Senate voted on an amendment that would have traded a 3-year amnesty for DACA recipients and TPS recipients from certain countries for $5.7 billion in border wall funding, along with some minor changes to the asylum system. Unfortunately, your Republican U.S. Senator(s) voted in favor of this deal.

Your Senator(s) needs to understand that you can’t trade amnesty for border security alone. Congress passed the 1986 amnesty with promises of border security, but the border security never happened even though more than 3 million illegal aliens receive green cards.

Please send a message to your U.S. Senator(s) and tell him/her that border security must come before any amnesty for illegal aliens.

The DACA deal was one of Obama’s executive orders and is not legal to begin with. Take care of the people first who are standing in line – waiting for their turn – not people who cut in line with an Obama executive order – that is cheating.
