U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Justice O’Connor has often been cited as saying that a wise old man and wise old woman will reach the same conclusion in deciding cases.

Does Sotomayor know we have a Constitution that is suppose to guide her through any problem and didn’t she swear to protect the people of the U.S. and follow that Constitution and NOT MAKE LAW? We don’t care about her experiences, her gender, or her national origins.
