August 31st is my last day of my full-time working career, my retirement date.  At 4:30 PM 8/31/18 I will walk out of the bank building, and not a moment later.

I applied for my Social Security benefits (ENTITLEMENT) back on 4/23/18, on line and followed the directions, answered all the questions and submitted.   I am still under review.   They say it can take about 6 weeks for approval, a decision.   WHAT DECISION!?  Seriously, the SS has had a book on me for over 50 years.

I go to the SS website, MY SS or MY Account, my application is still being reviewed.   If they need any further information or documentation, a representative of SS will contact me.   Here it is 6/01/18, no phone calls or letters from SS.   That should be a good sign.

Like all other government agencies, I guess this has to go down to the wire!!!
