It’s time for Congress to end Birthright Citizenship!

When will our Congress straighten up our immigration debate.

Lost in the immigration debate over the last six months has been the issue of the outdated practice of Birthright Citizenship. The United States is one of only two industrialized nations in the world to still grant automatic citizenship to every child born in the U.S. even if the child’s parents are in the country illegally or visiting on a tourist visa.

More than 300,000 children receive automatic citizenship each year through this outdated practice.

Send a message to your U.S. Representative, Rep. Lamar Smith, and urge Congress to end Birthright Citizenship!
