Can you image having such little feeling that you would have this child, cut the cord, and haul it off to the dumpster. Her mother’s new name should be “hard hearted Hannah.
Probation is much to lenient.
Just think of the story this child who survived will have to tell.
My mama and papa really loved me when I was born and were looking forward to taking care of me. In fact, so much so that they walked out after I was born and threw me in a dumpster. Lucky me, someone heard me yelling at the top of my lungs cause I was cold and hungry.
How could anyone be so heartless. Something more needs to be done and that is a public announcement by doctors or pharmacies should be given that any woman who is pregnant should be questioned and cautioned against the type of action these two took and what the penalty would be..
Also, the options which are available should be included which is to take it to the local police station or a hospital. No human being should be treated in the manner in which this baby was. What did the mother of this pregnant girl miss in her upbringing – was it compassion for another human being?
It is sad that our society has sunken to such a low level.
