What a way to run an airline.  Houston United Airline Workers need an attitude adjustment. The food on the airlines is awful and the cart carriers who transport people from each terminal and the boarding ticket agents need an attitude adjustment   I don’t find this attitude in other cities.

Returning from our trip to Mexico for New Years was certainly a new experience.  Our flight was suppose to leave at 12:30 p.m.  We were boarded and the plane left the airport and shortly thereafter on the tarmac and with flats up, suddenly the plane came to a screeching halt and the plane turned into one of the exit lanes and stopped.

The pilot announced we would be going back to the airport because the two pilots had exceeded their number of flying hours.

Why wasn’t this known in advance?

So off we go back to the airport and after further instructions in the airport were told the new pilots would be flown in from Houston and to expect them about  6:30 p.m.  Sure enough they reloaded us on the same plane two hours after 6;30 p.m. with our luggage still intact on that plane.

Landing in Houston two hours plus later, after going through customs, we were told there were no other flights to San Antonio that night and we would have to stand in line and new flights for the next day would be assigned which put us in bed about twelve o’clock at the Houston airport hotel.

We arrived back in the airport the next day for a 1:30 p.m. departure.  The agent checking us in was a gentlemen in his late 50’s who wasn’t in a good mood.  After pre-boarding the military and young folks and the number one group, we were the first in line for the second group which had been announced for loading.  We proceeded and I swiped my ticket and the machine went into convulsions.  The 50-year old agent screamed – I haven’t called the second group and everyone behind me screamed –  yes, they did.  What happened he had not clicked the change on his computer from the one to two group..

While walking off – I quietly stated to my husband, he must have voted for Hillary.

It looks like we are going to have to find another airline because the Houston United Airline workers are not very accommodating to the flying public.  It seems to me they need to attend an “attitude adjustment” program because we have a new sheriff in town who is Donald Trump and their Obama unaccommodating, helter-skelter ways don’t work anymore.
