The United States Geological Survey on November 15 announced the largest estimate of “continuous oil” ever assessed in the United States, and it’s in Texas.

The Wolfcamp shale in the Midland Basis portion of the Midland Basin portion of the Permian contains an estimated means of 20 billion barrels of oil, 16 trillion cubic feet of associated natural gas, and 1.6 billion barrels of natural gas liquids.

Liquid gold will be available after January 20, 2017
