Can You Believe It?
One of the greatest victories of our lifetime!!!
This was sent by a friend of a client. Really good stuff!
To All-
I am nearly speechless (nearly).
Trump seemed to have the narrowest of paths to win the election and yet what seemed nearly impossible happened. As it turns out, that margin of error in the most recent polls was more meaningful than we could have guessed.
The Clintons, the Obamas, the liberal media, the Hollywood elite, academia- all those most disconnected from the heart of the country, are waking up this morning in much deeper disbelief than any of us. In a single day of voting, Obama’s “legacy” (if you can even call what he did over the past 8 years a legacy) was blown to smithereens. ObamaCare, the Iran Nuclear Deal, numerous executive orders, one regulation after another in the EPA, the EEOC, all undone; Loretta Lynch gone and many others as well.
Bush, Romney, Kasich and many other Republicans wake up this morning realizing their time is permanently over, officially passed. The Republican Party has been remade right in front of our eyes. Watch for Trump to put together a fabulous cabinet and watch for a stunned media to be critical at every turn.
Hillary Clinton’s political career is finished. Why did she lose? She certainly was never an attractive and inspiring candidate. Her path to the nomination was more a coronation than a spirited debate with the best candidate emerging. Her record of public service was never one of meaningful accomplishment. There were 3 things that put her in this race and on the national stage- her marriage to a former president, her gender and the fact that the Dems did not have the foresight to run real candidates against her. Without these factors, she would be a relative unknown.
Obama will watch his 8 years evaporate right before his eyes. His intellectual arrogance and his condescending attitude toward anyone who disagreed with him all now make him look pathetic and irrelevant. No president in recent history will watch everything he put forth dismantled so quickly. It is somehow so fitting that his time in office, with his constant lecturing of how he knew what was best for the American people, ends with the people telling him he did not know what was best for them.
The liberal media, more intellectual elites, put forth every story, every opinion to sink Trump. Their arrogance mimicked Obama’s. Obama and the media were a perfect match. Clinton with her lack of openness and her email coverup never could forge quite the same relationship with the media though they protected her nevertheless. The media has truly embarrassed itself with its obvious bias and disconnection from the day-to-day lives of so many Americans. The new “normal” of slow growth, regulations run amuck, class warfare on society’s most successful members and America abdicating its world leadership role all proved to be unacceptable to many Americans- thank God. There is simply no replacement for a leader who reignites the belief in the American Dream and inspires people once again. An orange man with an odd hairstyle, a billionaire and reality show host who never became acquainted with political correctness takes office instead of a highly experienced lifelong politician.
I wake up happy the White House, the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court are under the conservative influence of the Republican Party. While the Party is not perfect, it is far superior to the Democratic Party under Obama and Clinton. The 5 Cs- corruption, collusion, coverup, Clinton and cult- the markers of this Party recently will not rule the next 4-8 years. Instead, we’ll have a chance to return to greatness as a country.
Wonders never cease……….
Reading this description of the event runs with my true feelings and thanks to the gentlemen who describes what many Americans think and feel.
