It looks like Bill Clinton had a Senior moment and forgot on what side of the fence he is on.  Wonder what happened at the dinner table last night – Bill probably had to fix his own?  He also probably had to sleep on the couch last night.

At least he told the truth for a change.

At a campaign rally for his wife in Flint, Michigan on Monday, former President Bill Clinton decided to go off script, slamming the sitting Democratic president’s supposed magnum opus: Obamacare, formally known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Obamacare is “the craziest thing in the world,” said the current Democratic presidential nominee’s spouse. “You’ve got this crazy system where all of the sudden 25 million more people have healthcare and then the people are out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half.”

However, Clinton’s transient moment of candor was punctuated by his “solution” to the mess Obamacare has wrought. According to Clinton, Obama’s health insurance mandates can only be resolved with more government. Making a Bernie Sanders-style appeal for socialized medicine, Clinton unofficially endorsed a new system that would enable Americans to buy into Medicare or Medicaid, otherwise known as single-payer health insurance.

The former president’s pitch comes just months after his own wife blasted her former Democratic rival for allegedly attempting to undermine all the hard work President Obama has done to forcefully pass the ACA.

The Hillary campaign has yet to issue a statement on Bill Clinton’s comments; although the campaign’s website is clear about where its loyalties lie.

For now, Hillary supports President Obama’s “landmark law.” But who knows if she’ll stick with this position for the long-haul.

As premiums skyrocket and insurers pull out of the ailing system, public opinion will inevitably sour, leaving Hillary at odds with an American electorate eager for change. Given Hillary’s track record of pandering, we may see a flip-flop very soon. Her husband may just be the canary in the coal mine.
