The most immediate threat to our country today comes from the global jihad movement. In the past year, we have seen the Islamic State (also known as ISIS) blow up a Russian passenger jet killing 224 innocent people, launch murderous terrorism in Paris and Brussels – killing another 151 – and threaten “spectacular” attacks here. And then there was one that actually occurred: the ISIS-inspired husband-and-wife terrorists who killed 14 and wounded 21 more at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, California.

Most recently, we saw the massacre in Orlando by an ISIS-inspired terrorist that killed 50 Americans and wounded scores more. His father was an immigrant from Afghanistan and had been spewing his hate for America and Islamic extremist message on a radio show, on YouTube and on Facebook for years.

In fact, since the 9/11 attack on America, we have seen more than 29,000 attacks worldwide against civilians by jihadist terrorists. And FBI Director James Comey says he has over 700 active investigations involving Islamic State operatives in every one of our states.

Bad as Shariah-inspired violence is, however, it is actually NOT the most dangerous form of jihad for a country like ours.

For an open and free America, the most worrisome kind of jihad is one being fueled by immigration from the Islamic World (especially from the Middle East) that is occurring right now – and accelerating.

If allowed to translate into importing still more jihadists, it will greatly intensify the danger of our destruction from within, by the Muslim Brotherhood and its stealthy subversion.

The Explanatory Memorandum, which was written in 1991 by a top Muslim Brother named Mohamed Akram, shows precisely how determined adversaries who come here in large numbers with the shared goal of weakening and undermining our country can succeed in transforming America into an Islamic theocracy, governed by Shariah instead of our U.S. Constitution.

Such a possibility may seem unbelievable. But the Muslim Brotherhood has been pursuing it for over fifty years – and most of us have no idea they are even here. Or what the Brothers can accomplish if they can continue to increase greatly the numbers of those in the United States who are sympathetic to Islamic supremacism.

To understand how serious this danger is, let me tell you a bit more about the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood is the world’s largest and most influential Islamic organization. It has spawned most of the terrorist organizations you have heard of — including ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram, the Taliban and many others.

The Muslim Brotherhood has established operations in most non-Muslim countries and began setting up its operations in the United States in the 1960s with the goal of bringing Shariah here and ensuring that Americans submit to it.

In this country, the Muslim Brotherhood tries to project a moderate image to the public. Spreading this kind of disinformation is the principal job of an organization founded in Philadelphia in 1993 by the Brotherhood’s Palestinian franchise, Hamas: the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Make no mistake. CAIR is an Islamic supremacist group that masquerades as a champion of civil rights. In fact, this organization relentlessly demands accommodations to Islamists and other Muslims at the expense of everyone else’s rights – notably, the right to exercise our freedom of speech in opposition to their Shariah agenda. CAIR denounces such efforts as “Islamophobia” and tries to silence those it accuses of engaging in it.

But it’s not “Islamophobia” to oppose Shariah-condoned practices, including the brutalizing and enslavement of women, the genocide of Christians and the murder of moderate Muslims, homosexuals and apostates. It’s not “Islamophobia” to fight against jihad aimed at imposing those sorts of things in this country.

Muslim Brotherhood operatives like CAIR’s spokesmen and women often appear well-spoken and non- threatening in places like TV news programs. But these Islamists are working every day to advance their supremacist agenda – often with help from foreign powers, some of whom have also provided direct support to Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda and the Islamic State.

The truth is that CAIR leaders have praised terrorists to Muslim audiences and said that suicide bombers are acting on behalf of Islam.

CAIR board members have called for the overthrow of the United States and the establishment of Islamic Shariah in this country. At least 15 CAIR personnel have been under federal investigation for ties to Islamic terror. In several cases, they have been convicted for doing so.

CAIR has also actively discouraged Muslim-Americans from cooperating with law enforcement. The organization appears to have spent more time and money advocating on behalf of convicted terrorists than for their victims.

And CAIR is just one of many Muslim Brotherhood organizations operating in the United States. In fact, the Brotherhood has set up a vast network of educational, legal and social service non-profit organizations, all aimed at advancing what it calls “civilizational jihad” inside the United States.

The governments of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Russia have all officially designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. That’s because they understand the peril posed by a group with its history of support for jihad and violence, as well as subversion.

Yet, the Obama Administration has legitimated, embraced and empowered the Muslim Brotherhood.

Presumably, that’s because some of its senior officials have close ties to the Brotherhood.

For example, four family members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and closest confidant, Huma Abedin, are tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Abedin herself spent 12 years working for the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs, a Brotherhood-established Islamist institute whose agenda is, as former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy explains, “to grow an unassimilated, aggressive population of Islamic supremacists who will gradually but dramatically alter the character of the West.”

In other words, the Brothers’ agenda is to flood the United States and European countries with immigrants from the Islamic World – which is exactly what President Obama is encouraging and enabling.

According to Egypt’s Rose El-Youssef magazine, there have been at least six more highly-placed Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers in the Obama Administration — including Arif Alikhan, former assistant secretary of Homeland Security, and Mohammed Elibiary, who formerly served as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council.

These and other Muslim Brotherhood-tied individuals inside the Obama Administration have had a profound influence over President Obama’s policies. One of the most troubling of these policies has been the practice of welcoming substantial immigration from nations that are hotbeds of Islamic supremacism.

The mainstream news media, of course, is not covering any of this. So, the American people are largely in the dark about what’s happening . . . and how our country, like many European nations, is at risk of being relentlessly transformed through the process Muslims call hijra – mass migration, or colonization, to spread Shariah to non-Muslim lands.
