My question is – would Art Briles have  been fired if he had been black?  Those who initiated the firing must have taking a page out of Obama’s lawless playbook.  They did not treat him fair and to think this is a religious college.

Ken Starr, former President of Baylor:  ‘A grave injustice’ was done to Art Briles.

Ken Starr is no longer the Baylor president, but he is still defending the school and former football coach Art Briles for their handling of the sexual assault scandal that cost both Starr and Briles their jobs.

Speaking at the Texas Tribune Festival, Starr offered support for Briles, who was removed as coach in May after an investigation by the Pepper Hamilton law firm found the football program failed to adequately deal with student complaints accusing players of sexual assault.

“A grave injustice was done to Art Briles,” Starr said. “Coach Briles has been calumnied … it’s completely unfair.”

Starr denied there was a larger issue for the university after two football players were found guilty of assaulting two students and another former player is indicted on a similar charge.

“I’m going to resist the issue, or the characterization, that there was an endemic problem,” Starr said.

Starr left the school after first giving up the president job and agreeing to stay as a law professor.
