KOMMONSENTSJANE – MORE ON THE KAEPERNICK FLAG FLAP

September 15, 2016

When is the media going to do their job.  Kaepernick’s girl friend is a part of this flag flap.  Who is this woman that was a part of this episode?  All we know she works  at a radio station and feels there is injustice in America?  So why is she still here?

Since the media won’t do their job – this is what is on the internet:

Is Colin Kaepernick A Muslim? Girlfriend Nessa’s Religion Did Not Make Him Convert To Islam

During Colin Kaepernick’s national anthem protest, an old rumor that stems from 2015 surfaced: He’s a Muslim. But the San Francisco 49ers quarterback is actually a Christian and did not convert to Islam for his Muslim girlfriend, Hot 97 host Nessa Diab.

The scuttlebutt originally came courtesy of Terez Owens, who received an “anonymous tip” about Kaepernick supposedly changing religions. “Now we’re hearing he’s transitioning to become a Muslim, according to people close to the player. We received this in our tipbox, Colin’s girlfriend, Hot 97 DJ Nessa, introduced him to the teachings of Islam, and he’s ready to embrace it fully,” the publication wrote over two years ago. “Our tipster tells us Kaep and Nessa are going to have a traditional Muslim wedding. Colin seems to be all over the place lately.”

The rumor was soon debunked by Snopes, a website that regularly dismantles internet hoaxes.

(Yes, but Snopes is owned by George Soros and we know he is not for America.)

Back in 2013, Kaepernick made it to Christian Today’s list of “controversial Christians in the NFL.” What made him controversial, according to the site, is that he has a full sleeve of tattoos. His parents supported their son and said that he tattooed himself with Bible verses.

“Colin’s a fairly religious kid, but he’s not in your face about it,” his father, Rick, told USA Today in 2012. “It’s more about him and what he believes.”
Nessa has not publicly spoken about her religion, but she did talk about her upbringing.

The Hot 97 host is originally from Southern California, but traveled between California and the Middle East as a child. “Here is the thing, I was a young girl fearing for my life– I wore gas masks to school,” she said about being present during the Gulf War in Iraq, according to Starcasm. “I heard war sirens constantly and I knew at this point I had to break out of this lifestyle.”

If she wanted to break out of Iraq and that lifestyle – what is her problem (a trouble maker).  I don’t care what religion he or she is; but, when he is encouraged by this woman to dump on our flag and using him to dump on our capitalistic system then I have a right to to resent that, too.  If she doesn’t like it in America – why doesn’t she leave?

Again, if she or he doesn’t like our country  that is fine; but, I can also not like it for what they are doing.

It seems she did not like it in Iraq and now doesn’t like it here.  So – she is stuck between a rock and hard place.

WHAT DID THE MEDIA HIDE – KAEPERNICK’S GIRL FRIEND WHO IS A MUSLIM – SHE IS PART OF THIS EPISODE? Why isn’t she speaking out about the injustice he said she is receiving in America. Doesn’t she have a job at a radio station and has an open microphone? At least she has a job which many Americans would love to have.

Isn’t it strange that we continue talking about the flag flap and Kaepernick this past Sunday and the additional NFL football players from other NFL teams who are also taking a knee. And, it has even drifted down to a Beaumont, Texas, high school where the whole team took a knee. What a shame. The flag is just a symbol – so how does a flag make anything happen.

My suggestion is – if these people who are making assholes of themselves don’t like America – why don’t they go to China or Russia and see if they like those countries any better. Asked Snowden – he is asking to return to America after a stint in Russia.

BUT THE THING THE MEDIA DELIBERATELY MISSED WAS WHEN KAEPERNICK stated THAT HIS GIRLFRIEND, WHO IS MUSLIM, LED AND ENCOURAGED HIM TO PROTEST SOCIAL INJUSTICES BY REFUSING TO STAND FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.

If that had been a Republican the media would have lit that match immediately.

Kaepernick: Rumors of conversion are false

USA TODAY SPORTS

by Josh Peter

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Colin Kaepernick knocked down rumors that he has converted to Islam and that his girlfriend, who is Muslim, led him to protest social injustices by refusing to stand for the national anthem. He tweaked presidential candidate Donald Trump in the process.

(The statement “that his girlfriend, who is Muslim, led him to protest social injustices by refusing to stand for the national anthem.” strikes me as a cop out.)

“I have great respect for the religion, know a lot of people that are Muslim and are phenomenal people,’’ Kaepernick, the San Francisco 49ers’ backup quarterback, said Wednesday. “But I think that (rumor of conversion) comes along with people’s fear of this protest, as well as Islamophobia in this country. People are terrified of them to the point where Trump wants to ban all Muslims from coming here, which is ridiculous.”

Kaepernick also addressed reports that he’s been heavily influenced by girlfriend Nessa Diab, a radio host.

“The impact is just conversations that we constantly have,’’ he said. “This is an open discussion that I have with many people, not just my woman. She is Muslim, her family is Muslim, I have great respect for them. I have great respect for people’s right to believe what they want to believe. And I don’t think anybody should be prosecuted for judged based on what their beliefs all.’’

Kaepernick suggested oppression is deterring some NFL players from speaking out in support of his decision to protest.

“I think there are a lot of players that feel the same way,’’ Kaepernick said Wednesday. “They’re just nervous about consequences that come with it and a lot of them have families to feed, and I think that’s a tragic situation where players aren’t comfortable speaking what’s really on their mind and what’s right because they’re afraid of consequences that come along with it.

(What about Kaepernick’s girl friend – why isn’t she speaking out instead of letting Kaepernick do the heavy lifting? Wasn’t this her idea?)

“That’s not an ideal for anybody and I think it also speaks to the oppression and culture that we have here where if you don’t fall in line then we’re going to get you out.’’

Last Thursday, 49ers safety Eric Reid joined Kaepernick in kneeling during the national anthem before the 49ers game against the San Diego Chargers. Jeremy Lane, a defensive back with the Seattle Seahawks, sat during the anthem before the Seahawks’ game against the Oakland Raiders.

The 49ers play the Los Angeles Rams on Monday, Sept. 12, but Kaepernick said he would have no qualms kneeling during the national anthem had San Francisco been scheduled to play Sunday, the 15-year anniversary of 9/11. (And the murderers were Muslim terrorists. Well?)

“Once again, this isn’t a protest against men and women of the military,” Kaepernick said Wednesday, noting he has talked about his protest with former Green Beret Nate Boyer and Sgt. Johnny “Joey” Jones, a retired military bomb technician who lost both of his legs while serving in Afghanistan. “I have great respect for them.’’

Kaepernick added, “People are getting lost in what the true message is and don’t want to address what it really is and address the issues, and that’s really the problem. I wish people would be as outraged about the murders that are happening in the street as they are the protest.’’

Kaepernick has to understand the people who are being killed are mostly in Chicago where the state itself is run by Democrats and the city has a democratic mayor and are black on black crimes. He needs to be more specific instead of generalizing.

In the end that is good – Kaepernick will take the knee – which is fine; and, what we can do as citizens if we disagree with Kaepernick is TO BOYCOTT THE GAMES BY NOT WATCHING THE GAMES OR NOT ATTENDING THE GAMES – plain and simple.
