Maine Sen. Susan Collins said she fully expected to come around and support Donald Trump in the general election–but attacking Army Capt. Humayun Khan and his family was the “tipping point” that made her decide she’d never be able to get on board.

She was looking for an excuse – when she found this one!

Strange I did not hear Susan Collins say one word about Khan attacking Trump first.

What did Collins think that Trump would stand idly by and let Khan get by with the attack. That is what the American people like about Trump – he is a true patriot and wants to save this country.  Has Collins done anything to save our country?

And Trump’s remark about his wife standing by and not uttering a word – and Collins did not like that?  Khan stood behind his wife’s skirt and used her membership in the “Gold Star” mothers (Kahn is not a member of the club – he can only be an associate?) which is reserved for mothers of fallen soldiers.

“It was inexplicable to me that anyone, much less a presidential candidate, would not honor the sacrifice and empathize with a family who lost the son in war,” Collins said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “Instead, he attacked them and attacked their religion.”

Collins still did not mention Kahn’s attack on Trump at the Convention.

Collins announced in a Washington Post op-ed last week that she would not be voting for Trump, the latest in a series of high-profile GOP defections.

What a bunch of hog wash.  Collins is not a Republican to begin with – she is a RINO.  The Democrats set up this Khan to rag on Trump because of his stance on Muslim terrorists.  If Collins is so into Muslims why doesn’t she sponsor a bill to “take a stance and declare war” on these Muslim terrorists who Obama supports?  Or at  least sponsor a bill for the country to call them “Muslim terrorists?”

No, she won’t do it because she is one of those Elite Republican cowards  who hasn’t done one damn thing to turn this country around.  She is just another token from Maine.  They sit in their la-la land and do not turn a hand to stop Obama’s drive to ruin this country.  Has she done anything to stop the money Obama is spending – NO!

Look at our debt $19 trillion and what is Collins doing to rein that in?
