McCain: Neither Trump nor Clinton Have Right Military Strategy

Sen. John McCain said Sunday neither Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump are focused on what America needs to defeat Islamic terrorism, calling for them to formulate a stronger military strategy.

(Thank him for his service; but, what does this RINO know?  If he knows so much why hasn’t he been talking to Obama, the Muslim?  Seems not too long ago –  he and Lindsey Graham tried some kind of strategy and fell on their face.  He is ragging because he is up for election and wants to play big boy.  Time for him to retire.)
In an interview from Baghdad, Iraq, with CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” the Arizona Republican criticized the candidates’ “outlook.”

“I don’t think either of them have expressed the necessary outlook,” the chairman of the Senate’s Armed Forces Committee said, adding he hoped “whichever one becomes president” will call in experts like General David Petraeus and follow their “sound military advice.”

(Yes, that is who we need back in the service is Petraeus.  And, if they don’t indict Hillary Clinton then Petraeus’ slate needs to be wiped clean.)

Asked about his support for Trump — who last July declared the former prisoner of war was “not a hero” — cited party loyalty.

“I have said I would support the nominee of the party,” he said, adding that he did so despite disagreements with Trump, including on military strategy in the Middle East.
